16 CHAPTER SIXTEEN (2/2)

”Of course I did” I answers raising my head to look at her, and I found tears flowing down her cheeks.

”Why did you do this Chase? You lied to me” she says and tears fall even more.

”I swear I didn't even know she's pregnant” I say and just then my Dad walks in, unannounced.

We were both shocked.

”I believe the information had reached you. I know he bought you Amaya, and what kind of a lady would actually marry for money? Claiming she has no help? You should leave my son before things get out of hands” my Dad speaks and that got me even furious.

”She goes nowhere” I protest

”Actually, I am.” Amaya said and paused, looking at me again

”Thank you” Amaya replied, leaving the office.

I ran after her immediately but she got into a cab and left before I could stop her.

Am I really going to loose her?

I just got her!

I drove home Immediately and met Amaya packing her things.

”Don't listen to my father,please don't do this to me, to us” I pleaded

”Us? Us Chase? You're supposed to marry Judith, the media is already insulting me that I'm a cheap whore who married you for money, and now someone's pregnant for you. How do I live that way?” She replied and I tried to hold her but she pushed me away.

”Is that why you took me to Amsterdam? Bought me clothes? All those dates were they fake? The night we made love? Everything?” She asks as her voiced brought the words out with sobs.

”I'm sorry Amaya, I promise I'll take care of everything. Just don't leave, please” I begged her again.

”You can not take care of everything Chase, you've done enough” and with that she left.

But Amaya left me!

Amaya's POV

I had no idea where I'd go or even live. I can't stop crying since then and my brother couldn't take the pain as he was also crying with me.

I picked my phone and dialed Mike's number and immediately he picked, I asked him for help and he said he's on his way.

He came to meet me and he met us crying in a coffee shop downtown which were almost closed and he took us to his place.

He carried Jason who felt asleep on our way to hi place, and took him inside the room.

I on the other hand was trying not to release all the pain I was feeling at the moment.

”Are you hungry? Do you want anything?” Mike asked and I just shake my head in response to no.

”If you need anything, if there's anything please call me immediately, okay?” He says and I nodded again.

”Go to bed” he says again and I nodded again.

But before he left the room, I called out and he turned ”thank you Mike” I said and he smiled.

I got inside the bathtub, filled it with water and smuggled myself inside, as I let the water calmed me but just then the tears and everything started rushing out.

I cried and cried and cried.

Judith is pregnant for Chase!

He just told me he likes me and would like to be with me!

We just got together!

I cried for a long time and when I couldn't cry anymore, I had my shower and left for bed.

But the sleep barely finds it way to me, as I was engulfed in deep and painful thoughts.
