CHASE'S POV

We decided to leave the next day I received the call from my Dad.

Amaya's been calm and talking me to get my head off things.

We were presently getting off the car that Philip used to pick me up.

”Uhm Phil, how's your wife right now?” I asked and he smiled.

”Thank you, she's very okay now” he replies and I nodded.

Amaya and I headed inside the company, but we were getting this weird look from everyone, although I was receiving welcome greetings.

As the elevator take us up, I smiled at Amaya before she finally walked into her office.

I greeted Judy who told me I had a visitor.

This wasn't the kind of welcoming I was expecting, as I walk into my office and met Judith sitting, cross legged, I became angry immediately.

”What do you want?” I say before taking my seat and she just gave me this devious smile.

”We used to be best friends Chase, what happened to that?” She says, giving me a lying hurt expression.

”Thank God you use the word used to but you've changed Judith, you're different now” I say, folding my arms and she laughed.

”The world we live in, you have to do things to get you to places Chase, and you know what I'm talking about” she says and this time I was confused.

”I told your father about your so called wife, I have my ways of finding things myself” she confesses, smirking

”But why? Why would you do such a thing?” I asked leaning forward.

”Because Chase” she says as she stood up and handed me a newspaper she was holding.

”I am pregnant for you” she finishes and I held my breath.

”What the hell do you mean?” I asked, collecting the newspaper and reading it.

I wanted the floor to just open up and take me with it.

”What the hell is this” I say and just as the words left my mouth, Amaya opened the door and stormed in.

On seeing her reaction I believe she saw the news already.

”What is this Chase?” She asks disappointment all over her face, and my head fell.

”Oh sweety I'm preg-”

”I didn't ask you anything” Amy cut her off and she was taken aback.

”Leave my office, right now ” I say to Judith

”Face it now to make things easy for you” she says and stormed out of my office.

I look at Amaya who had pain written in her eyes and tears looking for a way to slip.

I feel so bad right now.

”I lied to you about the day I left the office for some meeting you were not informed” I say , dropping my head again.

”I received a call from Judith that day. Saying she had things to explain to me about how my father got to find out, about your background.

But when I got there, I didn't know how or why it happened. But, we-we had sex and....and” I exhale, shutting my eyes

”I'm sorry Amaya, I should have to-”

”Did you meant everything you said in Amsterdam?” She asks, cutting me off.
