4 Chapter 4: Ive Saved You Just for Fun (2/2)
”I need you to guard my room, no one is allowed to enter. I'll be gone for a while, and do not let the news leak out. I will be saving someone today.”
”Yes mistress!”
I entered my room and changed into black robes. I put a black veil on and a black mask. My hair is braided in a simple manner and I brought spiritual needles with me. Feeling sad that I don't even have a Samurai sword or a Japanese weapon. But then again this is ancient china, where guns and cars don't exist! It's just one night, these needles will suffice till I save the person on the list.
I inserted a few knives in my boots and in my body. Then I brought poisonous pills with me, I didn't even think this princess will own unpredictable stuff in her room that belongs to an assassin. Not that I have any memory of her becoming or working as an assassin. For now I just need to focus on the fact that I am going to save someone from Feng's Manor. Feng's Manor is an elite household, where the patriarch was once a veteran general from the borders of the north.
The general has a second wife and three concubines, which birthed to five young ladies and four sons. But that excludes the fact that he has a daughter from the main wife who ran away a couple of years ago. The girl must have suffered in the hands of her scheming family members. And it must be her luck to meet me in this life.
The moon shone so bright that I can literally see everything in the dark. I rushed to see my horse in the stables and bring him with me. This spiritual beast is smarter and faster than any other animal here in my palace so I could only rely to this. Positioning myself on top of him and holding tight on his reins.
”We need to go on an adventure tonight and I hope you ate a lot earlier. If this mission is a success I will give you surprises when we get back.” I whispered
The horse neighed.
We ran through the dark forest of the palace and found ourselves standing at the back of Feng's manor where three ladies torture someone. Oh how I wish there is a camera in this era, or else it would be simpler to gather evidences and imprison someone. When they were done one of their guards lifted the body wrapped in a white satin. Then walked through the denser part of the forest and throw the body. The sisters laughed in success.
But they weren't very meticulous with their plans.
”Let's go and check that body” I urged for the horse to move and we entered the forest silently.
I jumped down from my horse and checked the body enveloped in a white satin. There's still an ample pulse from the neck of the lady. Her hair was cut short and her face was disfigured. Her body's thin frame felt like it's going to be blown by the wind any moment from now. I put a needle in one of her vital points to ensure that she'll be alive till we get back to the palace.
”Bend down, we will need to carry this lady back.” I whispered
I lifted her up and put her on top of the horse. I adjusted her body's posture and sat behind her. Then I drove the horse back to my palace. I need to save her, thank the heavens I have a good medical background when I entered the underground world.
