(Yao Xue Rong's POV)

Dinner was served in the almost empty hall of my palace, maidservants dined differently from their masters and it annoys me to eat all alone. When I was still the head of Himura clan all of the members eat supper in one place and at the same time, a tradition that indicates how we strengthen our bonds. But the case here is different, I cannot just call any of my servants intentionally to accompany me to eat. As a member of the royal family we need to follow rules and palace etiquette strictly, and being on top of the hierarchy even the nobles wouldn't dare to embarrass themselves and eat before I do.

The food was delicious, and I have never tasted any authentic Chinese food cooked as good as these no matter how many times I went to expensive Asian cuisines or hire renowned chefs to create foods that I crave about. I sighed, with thoughts of wanting to eat more, but my stomach says I am already very full. It won't be good to send myself in a mission if my stomach can barely digest what I've eaten. The heavier my weight is, the more difficult it will be to execute martial arts at night.

I wiped my mouth clean with a napkin. Then I slowly drank the black tea served after every meal.
