1Pei Xiuyuan found her action very cute. “What do you hate yourself for?”

“I hate my low intelligence.”

“It is fine. It is lovely to be silly.”

Lu Man looked up. “Are you comforting me?”

This clearly showed that he thought she was stupid!

“Isn’t it the way?” This man’s smile reached his eyes. Most women found this annoying.

He sneered proudly. “If you despise me, it means you despise yourself.”

If he married a woman with low intelligence, what did that mean? There was no need for a further explanation then.

“I love you so much, why would I hate you?” His hand swiftly pulled her into his arms.

1“Can we even talk properly?” She said while leaning against his chest.

“It is more pleasant talking in this manner.” With his other hand, he removed the flower hairpin and let down her hair. Her long, black, and radiant hair flowed down gracefully.

Lu Man had long, black, and soft hair. It looked like it belonged in a shampoo advertisement.

Pei Xiuyuan loved her long hair. It felt like silk and was very comfortable to the touch.

Lu Man felt awkward staying in his arms. Suddenly her eyes shone. An idea flashed into her mind. “Are these things refundable without affecting the resale value?”

Pei Xiuyuan was playing with her hair. His hand stopped. “Why?”

“I don’t need so many things. It’s better to return them. Keeping them is such a waste!” She just needed three skirts, a few short sleeves, and two pairs of jeans for the whole summer!

“Why would they be useless?”

“I cannot even finish wearing all of them if I were to wear one set a day.”

“Wearing two sets a day is not a problem.”

Lu Man lips twitched. “Mr. Pei, you are so wasteful!”

“This is not wasting. I am just trying to be a good person to society!”

“So you are saying that you are not wasteful by buying all these expensive clothes? You are being a good person to society by buying all these?”

“What do you think the workers in the garment factory work for? How do the shopping malls make money? And what do the workers depend on for livelihood? They all depend on selling clothes. We buy them for the thousands of families to continue earning their livelihood. Isn’t it beneficial to society?”

Lu Man’s lip twitched. She could not admire him more. It was clearly an act of wasting, but he still managed to glorify it!

However, what he said indeed made sense that it was impossible to refute.

By the time they finished organizing the stuff, it was already half-past ten at night. After shopping for the whole day, Lu Man was exhausted.

She wished to take a hot bath, lie on the comfortable bed, and sleep through the night, but…

The thought of sleeping in the same bed with him made the bed less attractive to her.

“You tuck in first. I want to watch TV for a while.” She was looking for an excuse to leave.

She was stopped as soon as she turned her body.

“You must be tired after a day of shopping. Go and take a hot bath.”

“I am not tired yet, I will watch TV for a while first. You can sleep first!”

“You are not tired?” Pei Xiuyuan raised his eyebrows.

“Yeah.”

“Let’s do something else.” His handsome face came close to her. His smile was seductive.
