“You put a lot of them in your food. It’s clear that you love eating them.” A person who hated green peppers would never put them into the stir-fry tomatoes with eggs!

Lu Man was again speechless.

He was attentive to her!

Pei Xiuyuan finished all the food she had cooked for him.

Lu Man had a great sense of satisfaction.

She got up and started to clean up the dishes.

“Wait a minute.” Pei Xiuyuan got up suddenly and approached her.

His handsome face was just inches away from her. He stared at her attentively. She was so frightened that she did not even dare to inhale too deeply. She forced herself to stay calm. “What’s wrong?”

“You have some cream at the corner of your lips.”

Lu Man breathed a sigh of relief. She thought that something was wrong. She then decided to rub it off with the back of her hand like a tough girl.

But, he pressed her hand down. “Don’t waste food.”

1After that, he licked the cream off the corner of her lips.

“It’s so sweet.” He seemed to be enjoying himself very much.

Lu Man froze. “You…”

Her lips were slightly apart and it appeared like she was seducing her. He did not hold himself back.

He pressed his lips onto hers. It was just like how he imagined it would be. It was sweet and soft.

Her lips were sweet from eating all the cream just now.

His kiss became more passionate and he could even taste green peppers in her mouth now. It was the taste he hated the most. But, it soon became a taste he adored. It was very sweet.

He realized now that he had indeed made the right choice in marrying her.

Lu Man recovered her senses. She wanted to push him away, naturally. But, he let go of her before she could push him away.

He seemed to be enjoying himself very much. It looked like he wanted more.

“How could you…” How could he kiss her? Her face was red and she seemed quite reluctant.

“I’m sorry, my wife. I’m quite overwhelmed by my feelings. I couldn’t help it.” He claimed that he was sorry but he did not appear sorry at all.

Lu Man wanted to be angry at him but she had no valid reason to do so. How he had addressed her reminded her that they were husband and wife. They were not strangers. It was normal for a husband to kiss his wife.

She pouted and said nothing. She got up and cleared the dishes.

“Allow me.” Pei Xiuyuan wanted to help her.

“Fine, you do it!” Lu Man was impatient now. She let him do the chores himself. How could he kiss her all of a sudden?

Pei Xiuyuan smiled. It seemed that his wife was not nervous anymore. She was not afraid of him anymore.

He did the dishes while Lu Man sat down on the sofa and drank her fresh orange juice in the living room.

She was rather surprised when she saw how he cleaned up the dishes calmly and patiently. She thought that he was unfamiliar with house chores. Was he not too perfect?

Pei Xiuyuan stopped for a while when he had put all of the dishes into the sink.

Lu Man was eager to know what he was doing.

He started cleaning the dishes again before she could inquire about what he was doing.

Then, she heard a loud crash. A bowl had fallen onto the floor.

Pei Xiuyuan was annoyed. He never thought that a bowl would be that slippery after putting dish-washing liquid on it.

Pei Xiuyuan was the CEO of Pei Enterprise. He was a person so superior that he always stood at the top of a pyramid since birth. He never even entered a kitchen before. Therefore, he had never done any house chores before. Naturally, he was unaware that the dish-washing liquid was slippery. It was his first time seeing one. After much investigation, he knew that the dish-washing liquid was used to wash the dishes.
