Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the town, Yun Anong was sitting inside the police station. Anyone who walked passes her had to stop in their track to glance her way at least once. She was someone who definitely looked out of place and did not belong here.

Yun Anong wore a blush colored dress covering her shoulders almost fully as it flows into a fancy court neckline. It's a tight fit which makes the dress both enjoyable to wear and look at. Her arms were covered to about her elbows. The sleeves were simple yet elegant. A perfect combination of grace and style.

In the distance, two of the female employees were whispering to one another about Yun Anong.

”Who is that?”

”I don't know.”

”Maybe someone's girlfriend? Probably waiting for him.”

”No way!” A nearby man who was overhearing them gossiped rejected that idea. He was in the middle of trying to build up his courage to go talk to her. Then these two colleagues of his just had to shut down all courage he built up.

”Fine! Why would someone that beautiful be here then?” The woman who assumed Yun Anong was here for her boyfriend asked.

Then the entire building became super quiet after hearing heavy boots footsteps running their way frantically. Those who had worked here long enough knows whose footsteps those belong to, Chief Commissioner Gong Guowei.

”Miss L-Yun, I'm sorry for making you wait,” Chief Commissioner Gong held out his hand for a formal handshake. Trying to hold himself back from showing he was almost out of breath. When he heard Yun Anong was here for him, he tried to wrap up the meeting as soon as possible. Then rushed all the way here without stopping at all.

I put down my phone to return his handshake, ”It's no problem at all.”

”Please this way,” Chief Gong in super-polite manners led the way to his office.

Which freaked out everyone on site to witness their ever so strict Chief Commissioner Gong act meekly in front of this woman.

”It's not his mistress is it?” The gossiping woman asked her colleague standing next to her.

”Nonsense!” The nearby man rejected those women's ridiculous gossiping once again. He has been working here longer than those two and knows Chief Gong will never do anything immoral like that.

”Who is she to you that you have to keep defending her like that!” The two women shouted back at him at the same time.

Then there was a muffled chuckle coming from behind them. The two women turned around to find their number one ranked handsome male worker standing behind them.
