Chapter 50 - Surprise (1/2)

The noise was light but it was as loud as a bomb to Li Yu’s ears. He turned around almost at the same time as he held the rod horizontally in front of his chest, looking at the direction of the sound nervously.

However, there was only a small stone rolling in front of them…

“Crap! I fell for it!”

Li Yu immediately realized that something was wrong but it was too late for him to react.

With a gloomy groan, a wondrous scene could make one’s blood run cold happened in the alley. A zombie with a distorted face grabbed the back collar of a young man and rapidly dragged him into a building not far from there.

“It looks like you didn’t come here willingly. I’ll just throw you here.” Ling Mo’s eyes flashed and waved his hands casually.

At the same time, the zombie who dragged Li Yu away immediately took him into a room that smelled like rotting flesh and threw him to the ground which was covered by strange clots.

The zombie was strong and although Li Yu was still unconscious, he still groaned in pain. It was a small punishment Ling Mo decided to give…

Under Ling Mo’s control, the zombie quickly closed the door and went back to the street, making its way into the building that Wang Ling just entered.

After Ling Mo got rid of Li Yu, another zombie puppet appeared behind Ling Mo. With a loud bang, the zombie threw Wang Cheng to the ground. However, Wang Cheng didn’t react as he laid by the feet of the zombie with his eyes tightly shut. Obviously, he was in a coma. But even if he was unconscious, his body still trembled uncontrollably.

However, the zombie wasn’t the one to blame. Wang Cheng fainted from terror before the zombie could even do something. However, Ling Mo didn’t throw him somewhere random but brought Wang Cheng back to him.

It wasn’t the time to deal with Wang Cheng right now. Ling Mo needed to control the other two zombies and surprise Wang Ling.

Ling Mo just controlled three zombies at the same time and did three different things. Multitasking exhausted Ling Mo as sweat filled his forehead. However, he felt more excited than tired.

Every zombie puppet was like one of his clones. He was able to order them around freely as if he was controlling his own body, which really satisfied him.

Two zombie puppets entered the building one after another, silently surrounding Wang Ling between them.

However, Wang Ling didn’t know that her escape route was already blocked. She was holding her machete, walking in the corridor of the third floor vigilantly.

It was a small hotel with rooms on both sides. Some doors were closed and some were wide open. But even if she was at the door, she wasn’t able to see the room completely, let alone other spaces good for hiding such as the bathroom. She already searched the second floor carefully but there was nothing there. Wang Ling knew that there were only three levels here and the zombie that sneaked on her was definitely here.

She was extremely tense and anxious as she hunted down a zombie in an environment like this, but the machete in her hand made her feel calmer.

“That Ling Mo is probably hiding around here somewhere. Once I kill this zombie. Humph!”

Wang Ling frowned gloomily and silently approached the closest door to him, pushing the door open lightly with her machete.

There wasn’t anyone in the room but the tightly shut bathroom door was very suspicious. This kind of zombie knew how to sneak up on people and knew how to escape. Perhaps it would also know how to close a door?

Wang Ling thought that her guess was amusing. What are zombies? A type of monster without intelligence! Although this zombie surprised her and she cared about it a lot, she didn’t think that the zombie would shut the door and hide in the bathroom.

But when Wang Ling was about to move on to the next room, a light noise suddenly came from the bathroom as if something fell to the ground. Although it wasn’t very clear, Wang Ling sensitively caught it.

She was surprised at first but immediately smiled coldly. “Playing around with me?”

She gripped the machete in her hands as she slowly approached the bathroom door. Then, she stretched out her left hand and held the doorknob.

As soon as Wang Ling slowly turned the doorknob, a gloomy thud came from behind her!

Bang!

Wang Ling turned around subconsciously but she was horrified to find out that the door closed! The zombie that sneaked in silently didn’t only close the door, but charged at her immediately!

At the same time, the bathroom door in front of her suddenly slammed open and a dark shadow pounced on her!

Although Wang Ling could use her machete well, the eerie situation completely shocked her. Before she could react, the shadow pinned her down on the ground.

Wang Ling’s reaction was extremely brutal as she was pinned down. Although she was panicking, she bent her knee immediately, giving her some space to fight back. At the same time, she waved the machete roughly as it was about to slice the zombie’s neck.

But after the zombie made her fall down, it immediately tumbled to the side. Although her counter attack was fast, it missed.

Before she could climb back up, the other zombie threw itself towards her and stretched out its hands to grab the wrist with the machete.

Wang Ling’s expressions changed drastically. She twisted her wrist in an attempt to break free from its control but the first zombie charged at her again. This time, it didn’t attack her but pinned her down beneath its body. Although she bent her knee and hit the zombie’s back, the zombie lowered its body and its stinky mouth approached her pale face.

As the two zombies worked together, Wang Ling completely lost the ability to think and there was only one thought in mind!
