The zombies’ hearing was even more sensitive than ordinary humans, quite a few more zombies appeared from nearby alleys and shops as soon as the boy yelled. Luckily Ling Mo could control zombies and it was a good opportunity to test it. He raised his short sword and dashed to the zombie in front of him. Then, his glance shifted to the second zombie and the moment their eyes met, Ling Mo’s unyielding consciousness forcefully controlled the zombie.

At the same time as he beheaded the first zombie, the second zombie which was controlled, sent itself to him, hitting its head on Ling Mo’s blade.

It was only the beginning. Ling Mo saw a few zombies charging towards him at the same time and his heart trembled as he kicked away a dead body. However, his head was clearer than ever.

He tried to control two zombies at the same time, what about three then?

It was a new challenge for Ling Mo to control three zombies at the same time, but there wasn’t much for him to think in the urgent moment. The thought flashed across his mind and he immediately attempted it without hesitation.

He slashed the zombie at the very front and controlled two zombies following the first time. When their movement was paused briefly, Ling Mo’s short sword quickly slit their throats. This type of control method could only affect the zombies’ movements temporarily and even Ling Mo didn’t expect it to be so effective in real combat.

Working with the method, it looked like Ling Mo dashed into the zombies easily and killed more than ten zombies at an unimaginable speed. In a blink of an eye, only dead bodies surrounded Ling Mo.

Blood splattered all of Ling Mo’s body, making him look like a god from the underworld. The boy and the girl in the supermarket were shocked at the scene.

“Holy shit! Xia Na, did you see that? What does that guy do? He’s so fierce!” The boy froze in his spot and yelled in astonishment, but he didn’t notice a zombie’s hand reaching towards him through the gap of the counter.

“Puu!’

A beam of cold light sliced in front of his eyes and the hand landed next to his feet, the boy looked at the girl right next to him and cold sweat filled his head.

Xia Na glanced at him coldly as she stabbed the long sword into the zombie’s stomach and pulled it out roughly, “Is that any of my business?”

“We are saved! Come, let’s break out of here!” Although Xia Na reacted coldly, the boy was extremely excited as there was a change in the situation.

He didn’t care if Ling Mo was happy to save them or not, the boy dashed out from behind the counter and Xia Na followed closely as she frowned.

Ling Mo watched as the two dashed towards him from afar, he knew that he won’t be able to get away from them for now. Rather than watching them bringing over a large crowd of zombies along, it was better to rescue them from the crowd of zombies.
