81 Chapter 81- Prints Disappeared (1/2)
Late at night, Master Yang and Gu Wing faced the group of officers and Huang family with an unpleasant expression on their faces.
Master Yang: ”I don't remember catering or inviting any cosplayers to a party at my household. Would you care to explain yourself? Mr.Huang.”
Zhi Hei replied icily, ”My daughter's been kidnapped and the last known location was near your mansion. I already received the permission to search your house. Excuse my rudeness and sudden intrusion, but for your innocence, these men will search your house.”
Master Yang's pulse began to speed up as he remembered that the Boogieman brought a teenager back saying she was a gift for him to play with. She was bloody and unconscious so he told his people to lock her up in one of his underground attics. Fortunately, that girl is secluded in the attic. 'Heh, they'll never find her.'
Master Yang yawned lazily and leaned comfortably on the couch, ”Hurry up.”
Gu Wing purposely made complaints talking about strangers roaming around the house and how things could end up missing. Huan Hei successfully disguised himself as one of the officers and quickly looked for traces of Ya Nuo's footsteps.
'Yes! The trail starts here….' he followed the footprints that led him to an empty guest room. The structure of the house was indeed weird because he had to turn three left corners first, then two right turns, and four more left turns to get to this room. The room was empty, but was fairly new. Another weird thing about this room is the color and structure of the door. Compared to other rooms, this room's door is the same color as the wall. If they didn't have the specialized glasses, they would have passed this door and not realize that it exists. After entering the room, creases formed on Huan Hei and Zhen Qi's foreheads. They followed the ink prints up to the window, but couldn't continue further because the ink disappeared. There were no trails after the last print by the window. There were no prints outside the house or anywhere in the room either. Zhen Qi was looking around the room while Wei Wei helped them keep watch, outside the room.
Wei Wei: ”What's wrong?”
Zhen Qi: ”Shit..”
Huan Hei turned around: ”The footprints… stop in front of the window and disappeared….”
Zhen Qi: ”We have limited time so we need to touch and twist whatever we can in this room to see if we can find any hidden pathways! Hurry!”
They tried rotating vases, moving chairs and knocking on walls and floor, but nothing worked. No door or pathway showed up. Soon, everyone finished searching and gathered back downstairs. The three of them could only obediently follow the crowd to avoid suspicion.
After searching and ending up with nothing, everyone left with a dark expression on their faces because they know that the girls are somewhere in there.
Master Yang: ”What? Can't find your daughter? Haha, framing an innocent citizen is a crime. If you're all done, then I suppose you owe me an apology. Please do that and get all these dogs out of my house.”
Zhi Hei clenched his fists tightly, ”Sorry for the intrusion. We'll take our leave now. But before we leave, I want to let everyone here know that no matter what cost it takes, I will definitely get my daughter back. If ransom is all the kidnapper wants, then I'm willing to give it for my daughter's sake.”
These were words directed to Yang Qiu Rei and it was obvious that Zhi Hei already knew that Nana was there or else he wouldn't have dared to intrude at this time of the night.
Yang Qiu Rei: ”Rest assured. I'm sure with your Huang family's status, your daughter will be safe and sound.”
On their way back, Huan Hei, Zhen Qi, and Wei Wei were discussing about the weird room. The room looked newly renovated, but somehow the footprints stopped by the window. Even though they touched and moved everything in the room already, they couldn't find any openings or paths leading to another room. Maybe they found out about the ink prints? That's impossible.
