Chapter 52 (1/2)

There were three kinds of students that a teacher could remember: the worst, the best, and the troublemakers!

Shen Zhe was in two of those categories.

So, he was a famous person for the teaching staff.

Before he went to class, Mr. Tian had been informed by other teachers that he had to teach a bad student named Shen Zhe a good lesson. He had thought that the last place of the school didn’t know a thing. However, the student turned out to be a genius who had tamed a beast…

To cover his embarrassment, he waved his hand and said, “Other students, dismissed! Shen Zhe, come to my office!”

Shen Zhe stood up.

He wasn’t as exhausted as before, even though he had only slept for two hours.

Everybody was discussing this after they left, wondering what had just happened to make Mr. Tian change his attitude. They all looked at the new classmate.

“Jiu’er, what happened just now?” asked Ling Xueru.

“I don’t know.” Xiao Yurou shook her head.

She preferred quietness over company after spending most of her time in solitude.

She was Ling Xueru’s direct opposite.

The monitor frowned and sat down in Shen Zhe’s seat. She said in a low voice, “I feel that there’s something wrong with the person who sat next to you. You must be careful… Tell me whenever you notice anything!”

Shen Zhe had been summoned to the office by three teachers in the past four days. What was he up to?

Xiao Yurou looked at her and smiled, “Do you like him?”

“I… I… Why would I like him…?” Jumping as if she had suffered an electric shock, Ling Xueru waved her hand. “I’m only… I’m only reminding you as your monitor!”

Xiao Yurou’s lips curled up, smiling like a blossoming flower. “You’re sitting on the same chair he used fifty-two seconds ago, and the book you touched was his pillow until two minutes and twenty-seven seconds ago. His drool is still on it…”

“I…”

Ling Xueru rose in a hurry, blushing and trying to get back to normal.

Xiao Yurou stopped talking and continued reading the book.

Although she had studied and memorized the books when she was six, it still felt different to read them in the classroom.

Mr. Tian’s office was a shared space with the seats of multiple teachers. However, none of them were present.

The moment Shen Zhe went in, Mr. Tian looked at him passionately. “Can I take a look at your Blue Fox?”

“Of course!”

Knowing that it was useless to pretend anymore, Shen Zhe grabbed the Blue Fox and tossed it on the desk.

Crack!

The Blue Fox was rather dizzy after the fall.

Then…

Pa!

The Blue Fox staggered when Shen Zhe slapped it.

“Stop sleeping. My teacher wants to see you…”

“…”

“Didn’t animal taming have to do with making animals feel grateful?”

“Aren’t we supposed to cater to their every need and adulate them?”

“Could throwing and slapping work?”

“Was this fox a masochist?”

“Zhi! Zhi!”

After it had completely woken up, the Blue Fox stood up and glared at Mr. Tian with hostility.

“Why are there so many wounds on the fox?”

Observing the fox carefully, Mr. Tian clenched his fists and felt that he understood. “Did it submit to you because it was wounded and you saved it?”

A lifesaving favor could never be returned.

The student might have had a chance to rescue the fox, thereby winning its obedience.

“Oh, the wounds were caused by me. Because it pretended to be dead…” answered Shen Zhe.

“…”

Speechlessly, Mr. Tian looked at Shen Zhe and asked carefully, “What did you do to make it feel grateful?”

“I just kept beating it up! And then, it surrendered…” said Shen Zhe after thinking for a moment.

He skipped the part about the herb liquid. It shouldn’t be a lie to neglect revealing only one step.

“…”
