Perhaps, he could and asked him for his advice on what Mother Wang would like as gifts of apology. However, for now, he let that matter go, and only wanted to enjoy his time with Wang Yi-An throughout their ride together. He would sometimes try to talk to her. However, Wang Yi-An just replied to him with simple answers.

Yang Tian-Xu would ask random questions like, ”Have you worked at the Happiness Restaurant long?”

”Yes.” She replied it was straightforward with no intention to carry on the conversation. However, Yang Tian-Xu doesn't give up, and he wanted to know more about her from her, and not from a third-person like Fung Qi-Wei.

”What do you like to eat.” He continued to question her.

”Everything.” She replied as she smiled at him. Still, she didn't ask him in return, because she wasn't curious about what he likes to eat.

Yang Tian-Xu felt like he should at least try to pry into her thoughts about Fung Qi-Wei. He thought that, just because Fung Qi-Wei thinks of her as a sister; doesn't mean she doesn't have feelings for him. ”You and Fung Qi-Wei seems to get along really well, do you consider him as an older brother?”

”Sort of.” Wang Yi-An replied the tone of her voice seems to have another meaning.

Yang Tian-Xu was not satisfied with her replies, and he felt like perhaps she doesn't like to talk much? And so, Yang Tian-Xu asked her one last question. ”How long have you known him?”

Once more, she answered him with a simple answer. ”A long time.”

The only remark that Yang Tian-Xu can say was. ”I see…”

The ride back to her district by bus would take Wang Yi-An an hour during rush hours, and if there were no traffic, it would take about 45-minutes. However, for Yang Tian-Xu, he had purposely taken wrong turns here and there, and so they had been together in the car for an hour and a half.

Wang Yi-An felt like perhaps it would have been better for her to had taken the bus home? However, Yang Tian-Xu had apologised and said, ”Sorry it took so long to take you home, I hope I can also give you a lift next time as well.”
