Chapter 66 - Ghosts Bride (2) (2/2)
When he first got the ring and saw that the first two letters engraved in the ring were the same as the first two letters of his initials, he had thought that it was just a coincidence. But now it seems like, from the very beginning, the ring was engraved with his name!
Damn, this boss doesn’t seem to be any better than “Winter Branch”. Should he not have activated the instance………?
No matter how Cheng Zhi Chu tried to convince himself that this ring was engraved with his name purely because he possessed the boss photobook, the sudden surge of fear made him have a misconception. It was as if there really was someone who was deeply infatuated with him but had passed away without his knowledge.
He was stunned for a moment. He took a step out the school gate and the surrounding scenery suddenly changed. Everything became brighter and his surroundings became small and messy. He had left the “Ghost School” instance and had returned back to his university dormitory.
【Activated instance: Ghosts Bride.]

【Instance introduction]
【Because of an accident, you received a blood-stained silver ring. You don’t know who the owner of the ring is but you were very curious so you kept it thinking that maybe one day you will meet its owner.]
【Now, its owner has really appeared. He told you that he has always been secretly in love with you. Even after dying and turning into a ghost, he couldn’t forget you, so he has returned and wants to make you his bride.]
【You must escape but you also know that if you cannot get the grooms kiss and let him be satisfied, even if you can escape this time, he would continue to find you in the future.]
【Another non-human named “Winter Branch” is also looking for you. You don’t know what his intentions are, but your instincts tell you that if you are caught by him, you will meet an equally miserable end.]
【They will be here soon.]

【2. You can only clear the instance by getting kisses from both bosses.]
【3. Don’t kiss “Winter Branch” in front of the groom and don’t casually kiss the wrong partner, otherwise the groom will go crazy.]
【I wish you a happy game.]
“……………”
Cheng Zhi Chu’s face was deathly pale. He felt that the instance requirements were just too abnormal. He simply has no idea what “Winter Branch” would look like and thought that, if worse comes to worse, he could just try several times but now it looks like that isn’t going to work. He also couldn’t kiss “Winter Branch” in front of the groom.
But this also makes sense. Which groom would be willing to see their “bride” kiss another random man? Although to him both these guys are random men.
He secretly hoped that “Winter Branch” is a handsome man……….Of course, this isn’t because he has been bent and was holding some strange expectations towards the boss. Even if he liked men, he will only like Bai Yi.
But after experiencing several instances now, he had seen through it and knew that the boss wouldn’t be female. Also, nine times out of ten, they would be the most good-looking man in the instance. He hoped that “Winter Branch” is a handsome man only so that he can more easily recognise him…………
“Brr………brr………”
While Cheng Zhi Chu was immersed in his thoughts, the phone that he had thrown onto the floor earlier started to vibrate non stop and several text messages appeared on his screen.
The screen lit up revealing many lines of messages that moved up the screen at a very fast rate. Most of them were meaningless numbers and letters but there were also many messages from “Winter Branch”.
[I’m here to find you. I’m at your school. I think I should be at the east gate.]
[Your school is very beautiful and very lively. Are you among them?]
[Looks like you’re in your dormitory.]
[South District, Building A?]
[I have already arrived at the library. It is very close to the South District. I’ll be there to find you.]
[Wait for me, Zhi Chu.]
These messages made Cheng Zhi Chu tremble but if he could get to know “Winter Branch”‘s location and if he is able to get more information from him by actively chatting with the other party, it could help him with completing his task.
And so, resisting the trembling of his body, he picked up the phone that vibrated nonstop and quickly selected the messages from “Winter Branch”.
[What appearance will you use to find me? How can I recognise you?]
The phone stopped vibrating.
The meaningless lines of numbers and letters disappeared, and the phone fell silent for a few seconds before it received another new message.
[I’m very happy that you would actually take the initiative to ask me about my appearance.]
[This really feels like a netizen’s offline meeting.]
He mentioned “my appearance” so does that mean that he would appear in human form? Cheng Zhi Chu couldn’t help but be happy.
“Winter Branch” continued to send him messages.
[What appearance would you like me to look like?]
What does he want him to look like?
Cheng Zhi Chu hesitated. Just as he mulled over what he should say to “Winter Branch”, he suddenly heard a few knocks on the locked dormitory door. It was then followed by a creak and the door gradually opened.
“Zhi Chu.”
A young man’s voice could be heard coming from the door. With a hint of a smile, the voice gently and sweetly called his name.
“I’m here to pick you up.”
“You look great in a wedding dress.”
The groom is here……..
Cheng Zhi Chu who had his back facing the door felt his body stiffen. He slowly turned back, and his line of sight followed with it. The veil on fell past his face and, through the veil, he could make out a tall figure.
The groom’s figure was excellent with broad shoulders, narrow waist and a pair of long legs. He wore a well fitted black suit and trousers that fit snugly around his legs, faintly outlining the muscles. Just that pair of long legs was already very sexy.
He leaned forwards lightly and gentlemanly gave Cheng Zhi Chu a bow.
At the same time, blood spurted out from his neck, spraying onto Cheng Zhi Chu’s veil and also flowing down onto the groom’s white shirt.
Through the white veil, Cheng Zhi Chu suddenly widened his eyes and the whole appearance of the groom was reflected in his eyes.
This was a headless man.
There was a jagged incision at his neck revealing a fleshy cross section. The head above was missing, and it was just a body without a head.
“Sorry……I was too overjoyed and good careless.”
The headless groom pulled out a handkerchief from his trouser pocket. With his long and slender fingers, he held onto the handkerchief and gently used it to clean Cheng Zhi Chu’s veil and the bleeding neck.
“It’s all because of me accidentally losing my head. I’m really sorry about staining your clothes with my blood.”
“I originally wanted to leave you with a good impression………”
“………….”
Cheng Zhi Chu was completely dumbfounded.
Looking at the headless young man, more than fear or surprise, he only had one thought occupying his mind——–
The wedding kiss……..Where should he put his lips………..?

Bai Yi’s Diary (Part 66)
(Feeling depressed and refuses to write his diary. Again, he drew more pictures.)

Bai Xi Xing’s Diary (Excerpt)
The Bai family has always had a family tradition. As a member of this family, you must write a diary. You can write about anything and it can be very short, but you must write one every day.
This is a strange tradition but what is even more strange is that the elders still care a lot about diaries and would regularly check to make sure the youngsters have done it properly.
I think that it might be because it was so strictly enforced when they were young, and they didn’t feel too pleased about it. And so, now that they’re older, they’re taking it out on the younger generation (If any of the elders have checked this diary, sorry, please just pretend that I didn’t say that.)
Being so strictly supervised, not one of us dared to not write a diary. Except for my cousin. He said that there was nothing worth noting down.
He has always been so nonconforming, cold and indifferent, and would always seem as if he is looking down on everyone else but no one could do anything about it. They not only couldn’t control him, they often even found themselves unknowingly at his beck and call.
Occasionally, the old man in the house will check our diary. Because the old man is so strict, we were worried that our cousin would be punished so everyone helped him write a few diary entries to help him clear the inspection. That year, most of it was written by me.
Although my cousin has been missing for many years and no one would check our diaries anymore, for some reason I would occasionally have a feeling that cousin hasn’t written his diary and that I should take out my diary to supplement his.
………….This sucks.
