417 Chapter 416 (2/2)
”It is time to bring the big guns...”
Leon fired several Spinning Ice Arrows, the power of those were still low, but they did the job and stopped the fire elementals before they could get too close. Regardless, Leon had to use the equivalent of the double of his mana pool to defeat a small group of fifteen elementals... that was troublesome. Still, since Leon's goal was to level up skills and obtain status, he decided not to overthink it.

As if they had been programmed or something to do that, five minutes later, another group of five fire elementals, five frost elementals, and five thunder elementals headed toward the purple crystal. More and more, it was becoming clear that they weren't monsters... they were magic creatures obeying the will of someone.
”A harvester... one much more powerful than the ones who tried to screw with me.”
That was clear because the status of the elementals didn't change no matter what... that being said, Leon was having difficulties imagining how someone could create so many creatures that had that much mana.
”It is probably a mage, and since that is the case, I shouldn't get too far away from the crystal since they can probably feel their minions getting killed.”
Since Leon didn't know the logic behind summoning or perhaps monster creation, he wasn't sure. But it made sense that the mana of someone was creating those creatures, Leon didn't have the skill to create golems, even though he was pretty sure that it does exist and it wouldn't require a catalyst to be used.
Leon decided to concentrate in order to act in case something happens, the chances of a mage that was specialized in creating minions approaching him to fight were low, but one can't be too cautious.
Regardless, it looked like things wouldn't go the way Leon wanted. When the fourth group of elementals appeared, they suddenly stopped and vanished. Much to his surprise, a semi-transparent screen of mana appeared in front of Leon. Nothing was being shown on the screen, but then Leon heard a strange voice amidst the sound of static.
”Hello, traveler. I want to talk to you. Can you come to my castle?”
