Chapter 26 - SQUAD A.S.SEMBLE!!! (1/2)

......9:20AM.......

Barry wakes up and curls his hand towards Caitlin only to find her gone.

He got up and checked the bathroom, but she wasn't there. He puts on his pants and left the room. When he opened the door, the scintillating aroma of food hit his face.

He finds Caitlin in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Her hair was tied up to a bun and she was wearing only her u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r under a pink apron.

”Morning, darling”, she said.

”Hmm, morning. What cha cooking?... smells nice”, he asked.

”Come help me out first, then you'll see what I'm cooking”, she said.

LATER THAT DAY...

4:50pm...

”I guess it's about time now”, Barry said as he left his office at the police station.

On his way down, he saw Joe who asked, ”Where are you off to, son? ”

”I have some things I have to attend to.”,he said bluntly.

(You wouldn't be saying that if you knew who he really is)

”Bye Joe”,he said and went outside.

The cold wind blows softly against his face, he puts his hands in his pocket and inhales deeply...

*** WHOOSH ***

He superspeeds past a couple of blocks and kept going for a moment until he got to Gotham city.

Everyone was at first startled by how he showed up.
