Chapter 116 - I Want To Give Our Relationship A Chance (2/2)

Tong Tong: ”Is that b***h your acquaintance? She's so rude and disrespectful. Who does she think she was? A God?”

Wei Wan frowned when she saw that she was being ignored, however, she covered it with a gentle expression and tentatively spoke. ”She is my best friend, Yue Wan. Also, she is. ...” With a longing gaze and tears in her eyes, she revealed, ”Li Rong's fiance.”

Tong Tong stood up and glanced at Yue Wan with disgust in her eyes. ”How could she steal her friend's lover? What a lowlife woman....”

Everyone at the counter quietened down and looked at the two girls and then at Yue Wan with a peculiar gaze.

Wei Wan hissed: ”Cousin!!”

Tong Tong or Shao Tong, niece of Shao Qing(Wei Xing's wife), had a tremendous amount of ego and was incredibly hard-headed. She only believed what she believed and no one could persuade her otherwise.

Tong Tong was so enraged upon looking at Yue Wan's nonchalant expression that she could not hold in her temper.

Wei Wan saw that Yue Wan was leaving the shop so rushed after her: ”Tong Tong, please pay the bill. I need to catch up with my friend.”

Tong Tong's face turned gloomier, yet she accepted it: ”Okay, but just for today.”

Yue Wan's shopping bags were carried by those two-guards, so she was able to walk leisurely toward the cars. As she was shopping for groceries, the sun had set and now the sky had turned dark.

”Yue Wan! Wait!”

Wei Wan grabbed onto Yue Wan's elbow and said anxiously: ”I promise you that I won't step in between your relationship with Rong. So please don't hate Rong.”

Seeing her sudden pleading act, Yue Wan had an ominous feeling that someone was close by, watching.

Yue Wan tried shaking her off but before she managed to weasel out of Wei Wan's grasp, she was blocked by a shadow.

”Let's talk, Yue Wan.” Li Ron stood before her suddenly.

” I don't want too,” Yue Wan knew that meeting with Li Rong wasn't going to be a good thing, so she flung Wei Wan to the ground forcibly and walked away.

However, Li Rong stepped in front of her and barricaded her way. With his two hands stretched wide, he said: ”I want to give our relationship a chance.”

Wei Wan's face was stiff. She harrumphed, ”What!!”

She thought that Li Rong was here for her, so she put on an act in front of him to earn his pity.

However, that was not the case at all.. 'Was he abandoning her?' She shivered in fear.

Li Rong didn't dare to meet Yue Wan's cold eyes, so with downcast eyes, he asked: ”I've thought about it for a very, very long time. Yue Wan, let's start over! This time I will be an absolute perfect boyfriend to you.”

Li Rong took a deep breath: ”I only want you to be my wife. I will shower you with my love and prove to you that my heart belongs to you from now on.”

Yue Wan's expressionless face finally shifted.
