18 Explain it to me like Im a four year old. (1/2)

Broken pieces of glass lay scattered across the room as Yuri smashed everything she can get her hands on. She was already heaving when she finally decided to stop.

”Are you done yet?” came a man's lazy drawl.

”You shut up!” She screamed, her fury renewing.

”Please don't smash the TV,” Kyung-Wan was sitting at the sofa, watching his 'sister' with amusement as she destroyed her own living room. ”I still have to watch my show.”

”I said shut up!” And she kicked the coffee table which smashed against the glass door of the designer cabinet housing her and Hyun-Shik's pictures.

Kyung-Wan stood up and stepped up to his sister.

”Stop,” he said in a commanding tone. ”You need to stop. Or else, you'll be left with nothing here and you might even get hurt.”

Yuri looked up at her brother and tears began to stream down her face. A second later, she lost all the fight within her and just slumped to the floor.

It's been days after she fought with Hyun-Shik over his so-called 'marriage partner' and neither of them had contacted each other after. She remembered throwing a fit at his house, screaming, and berating him about Chung Ji-Eun. She closed her eyes and the scene at his boyfriend's house replayed in her mind mercilessly.

”Just because I refused to accept your proposal, you go and ask somebody else?!” She raised her voice at Hyun-Shik as she rushed at him.

”It's not like that, Yuri-ah,” Hyun-Shik held her arms. ”Please listen to me-”

”I asked you to wait! I asked you to-” she managed to free one of her hands and she slapped him. ”Why would you do something like that?!”

And she heard nothing after that. Hyun-Shik still tried to talk to her, to coax her, but she had already blocked him out in her anger.

She continued to cry in her slumped state.

Seeing that she won't be breaking anything else for the mean time, Kyung-Wan turned around and returned to his perch at the sofa. He patiently waited as he watched his sister cry for some time. When she finally quieted down, he tilted his head towards her.

”What happened anyway?” He asked. ”Did you and your boyfriend fight?”

Yuri did not answer him.

He sighed as he adjusted his position at the sofa.

”You've been having these tantrums every freaking time you get a call from someone, when I ask about your boyfriend, or when your pitiful assistant comes over to give you stuff,” he said in a matter-of-fact way. ”You're really wasting your effort and money just breaking stuff, you idiot.”

Yuri glared at her brother.

”You have to tell me, so I know how I can help you,” she heard him insist.

”How do you think you can help me anyway?” Yuri asked. ”You don't have any money, resources, or whatever. You've been away for a long time, Kyung-Wan. You don't know anything about me now.”
