Chapter 360 - Chapter 360: Chapter 237 Who the Hell Did I Offend? (Seeking Subscriptions)_2 (2/2)

In the ‘Weapons Innovation Design Competition,’ Lin Chuan boasted he had designed a Remote Box-type Rocket Launcher with a range of 600 kilometers. And then, Leo went to Han River?

“These two, they couldn’t possibly have run into each other, could they?”

At once!

Yu Qin shook her head again, discarding the impractical thought from her mind.

How could that be?! While Lin Chuan had some abilities, Leo needed weapons. How could Lin Chuan possibly provide what the Haas Armed Forces wanted?

After a night of cool-headedness, Yu Qin had still regained her rationality and shifted her thinking: “We must have overlooked something. Why did Leo suddenly make a transit in Southeast Asia, then run off to Han River?”

Lucas fell into thought, muttering to himself, “Indeed, they had just had their initial negotiation with us. Logically, they should have stayed put.”

“Check!”

Yu Qin immediately made up her mind, “Check where he went on the day he finished negotiating with us.”

Lucas nodded, agreeing with Yu Qin’s decision.

Then, at once, they gathered professional technicians again to continue tracking Leo’s whereabouts.

Just as Lucas said.

Though these technicians acted like Teletubbies in the face of Lin Chuan, for now, they were as strong as Superman.

Merely an hour later, they unearthed the result.

—— The day after the negotiation ended, Leo went to a strange address, then started his secret transit to Han River.

“What was he doing there?”

Lucas spoke with puzzlement.

“Let’s go check it out first, bring more hands just in case,” Yu Qin paused, “And bring the ‘tools’.”

Lucas nodded.

At once, the two hurried out of the office, hopped into the prepared car, and headed to the address Leo had visited.

That address was about an hour’s drive from the Asia-Pacific Branch.

Two MPVs sped along the road, passing through the early morning rush hour streets, and following the navigation, they arrived at their destination close to nine o’clock.

It was an ordinary urban area with old-style buildings.

The bright sunlight sprinkled down, coating the mottled exterior walls with a thin layer of gold. Occasional moss could be seen between the bricks and the streets were somewhat narrow, looking quite unremarkable.

Yu Qin and Lucas got out of the car.

Someone holding the address led the way for them.

They crossed the narrow streets, stepped on a few patches of moss, and finally climbed a staircase.

This staircase was blocked by an iron gate.

“This must be where Leo and the others came,” the guide looked at Yu Qin and Lucas.

Lucas, taking the lead, gave a slight nod and then signaled to the people behind him with a glance.

Being in the dark business, Morgan Group’s personnel were, of course, not to be trifled with; a burly man behind understood, grabbed a “tool”, and knocked at the iron door.

‘Bang bang bang’.

The noise immediately resonated through the stairwell, startling everyone inside.

Brother Hao and Hou, along with a group of Fries Novel’s pirated workers, had just started work not long when they heard someone smashing the door, causing their brows to furrow.

“It couldn’t be those people from last time, could it?”

With a sour face, the thin and monkey-like Hou said to Brother Hao, “I told you we should have moved places!”

Hearing it might be the same people from last time, Brother Hao’s legs began to tremble, “Don’t scare yourself, I’ve already applied for Sailing Novel’s authorization. How could those people come back again?”

Bang!

The sound of the door breaking was especially harsh, making Hou shiver in fear.

In no time.

A group of people barged in!

At the forefront were Lucas and Yu Qin, side by side, with Lucas’s face cold and his eyes as sharp as an eagle, while Yu Qin was clad in black, exuding chilliness.

Behind them, followed a dozen men in suits, tall and burly with solemn faces, clearly well-trained and tough cookies.

The staff inside had never seen such a scene and immediately panicked, shrinking to the side.

Hou was even worse.

Once bitten, twice shy, his legs were trembling and he hid behind Brother Hao.

Brother Hao watched this ill-intentioned group, his lips twitching non-stop, his heart overrun with terror, silently lamenting.

——Who the hell did I provoke?
