Therefore, Gu Anhao took the elevator and headed straight to the twenty-eighth floor. After exiting the elevator, she realized that this floor was a dining place and most of the restaurants were filled with private rooms. There were not many people on this floor at this time and most of the doors of the private rooms were closed. How would she be able to find out who was behind the doors if she could not even look inside?

Gu Anhao then came to a sudden realization.

Even if Gu Anhao knew where he was at this time, for someone of Zuo Hancheng’s status, she would not be able to find him if he did not want to be discovered.

This clearly emphasized the difference between both of their worlds. It seemed as though it was almost impossible for her to find him, if so, she would not be able to create chaos and take her revenge.

Gu Anhao felt very discouraged at this moment, she then turned and headed into the washroom. She washed her face with cold water and then turned around to step out of the washroom. As she had her head lowered, she did not pay attention to the person standing in front of the door and she walked right into the person. No… in fact, the other party was the one who intentionally slammed into Gu Anhao.

Gu Anhao raised her head and she saw that the person that she had run into was none other than Gu Shishi, who was staring at her with her brows raised and a smug expression on her face. Mrs. Gu was right behind her, and the both of them walked into the washroom.

Damn it! Why was she so unlucky to run directly into this pair of mother and daughter?

Gu Anhao had a stiff expression on her face. She did not want to have a confrontation with them. Therefore, she tried to walk out of the washroom immediately.

“Hey, don’t leave in such a hurry!”

Gu Shishi stepped in front of the door to block the exit before turning around to look at Mrs. Gu.

“Mommy, don’t you think that it’s too much of a coincidence? Daddy just came back from Beijing today and look who is here at this hotel? What do you think is the reason that Gu Anhao is here today? I think that she was trying to look for an opportunity to spend some time with Daddy because she thought that the both of us would not be here today!”

Mrs. Gu was looking at Gu Anhao with contempt. “Yes, it is indeed too much of a coincidence. I would never have expected that such a young girl like you would actually be so devious. I guess you really inherited all of your traits from your dead mother!”

Mrs. Gu supported Gu Shishi’s statement without any hesitation.

Gu Shishi stepped forward in an attempt to mock Gu Anhao even further. “What is the matter? Don’t forget that the only reason you had the opportunity to get to know the CEO of Shengling Group is because of my mother and I. Unfortunately, he is not interested in someone like you at all! I guess the both of you parted ways as soon as you stepped out of the hotel, right?”

Gu Anhao stared blankly at the arrogant Gu Shishi before she replied, “I only came to the washroom to wash my face. I do not know why you and your mother are so free to waste time stalking me and blocking the washroom exit, not allowing me to leave.”

“We are stalking you?” Gu Shishi sneered.

“Gu Anhao! Please get your facts straight! The only reason we are here today is to celebrate since my father is finally home. The three of us were enjoying a happy meal together. My father left earlier because he has to attend an urgent meeting. My mother is just accompanying me to the washroom because I wanted to touch up my makeup. Who would have known that we would run into you here?”

“That is great news, then. Since we cannot tolerate one another, then I believe that it is in all of our best interest if you would just step aside so that I can leave now. That way, we can minimize any need for communication at all.”

Anhao totally ignored the smug expression on her face. “Please move aside. Don’t block the exit!”

However, Gu Shishi refused to back off. Instead, she raised her brow at Gu Anhao as she replied, “Gu Anhao, do you really think that I would let you go just like that? I have been meaning to say this. You were so drunk when you came to see me the other day, I believe that you would have rushed into the bathroom to throw up after I left. Am I right? So, I don’t think that anything intimate could have happened between the two of you anyway!”

“Moreover, I am absolutely certain that it is absolutely impossible for someone such as Zuo Hancheng to touch you at all! The only reason he spoke up for you is simply because he is a gentleman! Don’t think that you are so great just because of that!”
