Anhao could only smile awkwardly as she looked at him.

“I didn’t know that you love me so much that you would actually be searching for news about me when I’m not at home.”

Zuo Hancheng had an inexplicable expression on his face.

Gu Anhao smirked before she replied, “You are too narcissistic! Even if all the women in the world long for you, I will not be thinking about you!”

Zuo Hancheng glanced at her before he answered, “That’s right. I seriously overestimated you. You are not a woman yet.”

Gu Anhao closed her eyes as she clenched her fists tightly together. After that, she opened her eyes before she eyed him suspiciously before she turned around to look at the webpage again. “Why isn’t there any news about you getting caught by the reporters and paparazzi at Deways Hotel last night? Did you pay them off already?”

Zuo Hancheng did not reply to her question as he merely glanced at the laptop screen. He turned away from the laptop screen when he saw that the news that was in the headlines was still regarding the actress who had attempted to commit suicide by jumping of a building. The media was also offering ten million yuan to anyone who would be able to provide any inside information about Zuo Hancheng.

“Why must it be posted online?” Zuo Hancheng asked indifferently. The expression on his face was very cold at this time.

Gu Anhao choked after being questioned. “Didn’t you see that the media has already posted a cash reward for anyone who can provide any inside information about you? The media is desperately trying to get more information on the president of Shengling Group! Do you know that they are offering a reward of ten million yuan?”

“There are so many entertainment media who are vying to obtain information about you and it was so difficult for them to finally capture some pictures of you and your underground girlfriend! Why didn’t they publish the news online then? Why did they choose to keep this information to themselves? Who would want to miss out on such a huge cash reward?”

Zuo Hancheng did not reply and he simply stared at Gu Anhao as he listened to her.

Zuo Hancheng’s brows were raised as he stared at Gu Anhao. “Gu Anhao! Are you sure that you are just a nineteen-year-old high school student?”

Anhao blinked as she looked at the dissatisfied expression on Zuo Hancheng’s face.

“How is my age related to this matter in any way?”

“Secret mistress? Only you would think of something like that.”

“It’s always that way in those novels…” Anhao responded as she used her chin to point at the laptop on the table. “If you don’t believe me, you can look up any of those romance novels online.” Zuo Hancheng had zero intention of touching the laptop because he was obviously not interested in those kinds of novels at all.

“But you are right…” Anhao suddenly spoke again. “When that woman was standing next to you yesterday, I didn’t have the feeling that she was your girlfriend at all. Even though she was very shy and even though she looked happy to be photographed with you, she does not seem to be compatible with someone like you anyway.”
