Tong Ya finally breathed a sigh of relief, but the atmosphere had been as tense as if she were meeting a spy.

Early the next morning, Chen Yu went straight downstairs and turned on the dough machine, then began to fiddle with the braised food seasonings.

At six in the morning, Tang Xiaowei arrived at the store extra early.

She stood at the entrance in her mascot costume as usual, except today she seemed to be acting rather sneaky.

By eight o’clock, Tong Ya returned to the shop with Tuan Tuan, both in high spirits.

However, they had bought a ton of stuff in big and small packages.

“Don’t buy so many things for Tuan Tuan next time she goes out, she’s still young, we can’t let her get used to it,” he said.

Upon hearing this, Tong Ya immediately relaxed.

“I understand, I will be thrifty and manage our household well going forward,” she said.

Chen Yu nodded at this, but then he thought that Tong Ya’s comment seemed a bit out of place.

After Tong Ya finished speaking, she went off to get busy, not giving him a chance to respond.

At Suzhou City train station, Li Lan and Chen Guang arrived early in the morning.

After a short wait, they hailed a flatbed tricycle and headed straight to Chen Yu’s shop.

When they arrived, they were completely stunned.

“Yu’s dad!” Li Lan frowned, “Is Chen Yu’s shop really around here?”

Chen Guang nodded, “Based on the location he sent us before, it should be around here.”

Li Lan sighed, “Look at this store; it’s so crowded! If Chen Yu opened his shop next to this one, wouldn’t it just lead to losing money?”

Chen Guang’s face was filled with concern, “If you ask me, we should just take Chen Yu back home where at least he can have a full meal.”

With that, Li Lan directly called Chen Yu’s phone.

It was precisely noon, the peak of the foot traffic.

When Chen Yu saw that it was Li Lan calling, he quickly answered.

“Mom! What’s up with the call?”

“Chen Yu, your dad and I have come to see you, where is your shop?”

Chen Yu was somewhat surprised, “It’s at the location I sent you guys before! Why did you come here for no reason?”

“I’m right at the location you sent us, but there is only one unmarked restaurant here, no other shops.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Yu quickly signaled Chu Hong and hurried out of the shop.

“Dad, Mom!”

He shouted excitedly and ran over.

Both Li Lan and Chen Guang wore faces of astonishment.

They had not expected such a bustling shop to belong to Chen Yu.

“Is this your shop?” Chen Guang still found it hard to believe.

Chen Yu smiled, “First go upstairs and rest a bit; I’ll join you after I get through this busy time!”

With that, Chen Yu led Chen Guang and Li Lan directly to the third floor of the shop.

As soon as the door opened, Tuan Tuan yelled out loud, dropping her homework and running over.

“Grandpa! Grandma! How come you’re here?”

Li Lan quickly went up to hug Tuan Tuan, “We came to see you!”

After making sure they were settled, Chen Yu hurried back downstairs.

This time was the busiest for the shop; any lapse, and they couldn’t keep up with the demand for braised food.
