Chen Yu didn’t bother with the commotion and simply reviewed the contracts Han Xiaohui had printed out, discovering that the terms she had included were not only comprehensive but also augmented with extra details.
It had to be said that Han Xiaohui was indeed a qualified secretary, and very attentive at that.
After reviewing the contracts, Chen Yu was full of praise.
It was unclear how much time passed or whether these people were exhausted from fighting, but gradually, the room grew quieter.
President Gao was gasping for breath, slumped beneath a table, his head covered in shards from broken bottles.
“Have you all had enough of fighting? If so, let’s discuss the details of the acquisition.”
With that, Chen Yu distributed some of the contracts down the line.
The executives, upon receiving the contracts, found the terms strict but still acceptable.
It seemed as if Chen Yu had an uncanny grasp of their psychology.
Moreover, now that internal strife had broken out amongst them, it was impossible for them to unite and find a major buyer for their assets.
One of the executives, resembling a rotund winter melon, quickly browsed through the contract and headed straight to Chen Yu.
“President Chen, I agree to all the terms laid out here, we can sign the contract right now!”
Without any further words, Chen Yu took out the prepared seal and pen.
Once there was a first, there were inevitably more to follow. Before long, the people in the room were lining up, pleading for Chen Yu to acquire their industries.
In less than half an hour, all the contracts had been signed, transferring the entirety of the assets in the industrial park to Chen Yu’s name.
In total, Chen Yu spent less than one billion.
This industrial park was even larger than the one he currently owned; if it were sold through normal channels, it would fetch at least ten billion on the open market.
Now, having spent just a tenth of that price, Chen Yu had gotten a tremendous bargain.
After resolving the matter, Chen Yu, accompanied by Han Xiaohui, headed straight to the factory area.
The factory managers and executives followed close behind, rapidly transferring assets and instructing relevant personnel to vacate the premises.
Hou Jianchang, upon hearing the news, was overjoyed as he hastened to the scene. He hadn’t expected Chen Yu to be so efficient; within just a day, he had secured the factory area.
Next was to proceed in the same manner, renovating the factory area and settling the workers who were left behind.
In a rather luxurious office, Chen Yu sat comfortably, lightly stroking the Maneki-neko on the desk.
“I didn’t expect this bunch to be incompetent in business, but they sure knew how to enjoy life. This office is more than twice as big as ours.”
Hou Jianchang looked around the room and let out a breath.
“Well, in business, some face-saving is necessary, but this is indeed too much. No wonder these guys ended up running their factories into the ground.”
