It seemed as though President Gao was resigned to breaking the pot if it couldn’t be lifted.

Considering the assets they held, they would surely be considered high-quality if placed on the market. They couldn’t be cast as bad assets simply because they differed from Chen Yu’s line of business.

A few executives were immediately angered and wanted to stand up and argue with Chen Yu, but then, thinking better of it since they were the ones seeking a favor, they forcefully suppressed their urge.

President Gao also felt helpless, momentarily at a loss for what to do.

He turned to look at the other factory managers and executives and suddenly had an idea.

He hastily pulled out a document from the pile, handed it to Chen Yu.

“President Chen, take a look, this is the detailed information of my company. We do have a business sector that manufactures pharmaceutical products, which suits your needs perfectly. Perhaps consider acquiring just that part?”

His words took everyone by surprise.

“President Gao, what do you mean by this? We agreed to sell all of our industries as a package, why are you now only selling yours?”

“That’s really underhanded. Is our asset supposed to end up as manure?”

If they didn’t sell their assets quickly, they would only face ruin.
