Chapter 1440 (1/2)
Chapter 1440: Ending 1: The Fire of No Regrets_12
“Haha, yes. This shows that we’re on the right path, inching closer to ultimate victory.”
Senati raised his arms high.
In the Sky, a dome shrouded with gray mist appeared, and Void Spears stabbing towards Earth were caught and squeezed by the dome, then burst into powder, dissipating into nothingness.
“Let the battle begin, Berya! Don’t worry about dying, and don’t retreat! We must fight until the Inner Cosmos is successfully reset, even if it costs us our lives!”
Senati shouted loudly.
The figure of the Assassin Angel expanded tremendously, instantaneously transforming into a colossal purple mist Titan that clashed with the Void Spears in the Heavens.
…
…
Inner Cosmos, Crystal Ground, Illusion Space Entrance.
Noland Lee felt an inexplicable unease, as if something terribly bad was happening.
He tried to contact the Assassin Angel but received no response; instead, it caused his head to throb painfully.
This feeling was identical to the one he had last time when the Assassin Angel went missing and he tried to make contact.
“Damn… what’s happening… has the Assassin Angel been entangled by Extraterrestrial Eternity again? He’s with Senati. Could it be that we’ve been infiltrated again?!”
A bad premonition emerged in Noland’s heart and, subconsciously, he sensed that the planet where Senati hid was under attack again.
“Damn… how did the Extraterrestrial Eternity find Senati? What went wrong this time?”
With these troubling thoughts, Noland entered the Illusion Space and began to recite spells faster.
The flow of time in the Illusion Space slowed down further.
Just as the flow of time seemed about to freeze, a black object hidden against the deep starry backdrop suddenly sucked Noland into it.
It was a Black Hole!
A Black Hole had sucked him in!
Before Noland could react, a flame the size of a palm appeared within the Black Hole, next to which was a simplistically styled wooden lever.
This was the rumoured switch that could reset the Inner Cosmos.
Pull it, and everything would end.
Without a second thought, Noland forced himself not to think about the composition and principles of this special space and flew straight towards the wooden lever next to the flame.
“Hiss hiss hiss—chatter chatter chatter—”
Various hisses came from behind Noland.
Turning his head, he saw a vast onslaught of Chaotic Demons that had suddenly appeared in the Illusion Space, currently chasing after him like mad.
Noland shifted his gaze away from behind and stared intently at the lever, speeding up continuously.
He reached the lever faster than the pursuing Chaotic Demons.
But just as his hand touched the lever, a figure shrouded in orange-yellow mist appeared out of nowhere beside Noland.
Noland’s body immediately stiffened, completely unable to move.
Only hearing the orange-yellow figure mutter to itself:
“The three hundred and first attempt, either Senati or Gilenz distracts the main forces of Extraterrestrial Eternity, secretly arranging someone to enter the core, pull the lever, reset the Inner Cosmos.”
“What? What are you… saying?” Noland, unable to move or speak easily, managed to stammer out a few words.
He poured all his strength into pulling the lever, yet he couldn’t move the lever at all.
