”No. Of course not. I am just stating fact. I also don't think your fiancé would like to hear this,” Zang Fang spat the word fiancé with disdain.

Even if he knew Suzuki Kyou and he treat him as his friend, there was no way he wanted giving Han Mei away.

”Mei Mei…” He whispered softly, ”I've been at a remote part of the world, all this time, I only wanted to go back and explain to you, apologize for acting an asshole. But, I can't help it. That time I just want to-”

”Stop!” Han Mie hissed. ”I don't want your explanation. Yes, if I sue you it will be a scandal and it will affect my engagement. Regardless what you say, it is despicable for you to do that to me! You don't have any excuse!” She was fuming. It was the first in her life that she was boiling in anger to the point of trembling.

She subconsciously held her stomach to relax. Han Mei needed to stop feeling agitated.

”Mei Mie-”

”Don't call me that. We are not close,” She said chillingly, ”Listen. If you still have a little bit of conscience, leave me alone. Then I will continue to pretend that what happened to us is just a nightmare! Don't contact me again!” Han Mei said before she hangs up the phone.

Han Mei sat on Han Jie's with unshed tears. She then caressed her stomach carefully. ”I'm sorry, baby. Mommy is stupid and must fix her mistakes. Mommy can't let us be with your father.”

Han Jie felt like a thief caught for stealing. She also knew that it will take a lot of effort for her to be able to convince Suzuki Kyou to cooperate to her plan.

What if he decided to chop her to pieces instead because he is so unhappy?

He won't be mad if she caused further inconvenience right?

What if he get's upset with her?

Han Jie needed to figure out what to do if that happens. One thing is for sure she won't be a push over.

As her imagination runs wild, the more she felt guilty and dread the high possibility of being stoned to death if she won't confess her sins.

Scratch that. Han Jie realized that being stoned to death is punishable by law. It is so old school as well and its not the ideal way for her to die.

'Damn, why am I thinking of death? I don't really have the suicidal tendencies. Or do I?' Han Jie questioned herself as she followed Suzuki Kyou to his office.

She could not help but release a heavy sigh as she followed the big boss. Han Jie was really acting behave even Jonah was surprised about it.

Suzuki Kyou was not speaking of course that goes to everyone else.

The short ride on the elevator felt long and suffocating. Han Jie could feel her heart in her throat.

*Ding*

Han Jie was startled with the sound of the elevator when it reached the 12th floor, where Suzuki Kyou's office is located.

”Miss Han, you were just recently. How are you doing? Did you forget something?” Assistant Ye asked with a smile on his face. In all honesty, he was quite sure the one standing in front of him is the twin sister. He could just remember the issue recently with the young master of the Xie family.

Assistant Ye is not really someone who does so might as well asked as if he did not know anything.

”Huh?” Han Jie was confused, ”Er, you must be talking about-”

”Get in,” Suzuki Kyou suddenly said halting their conversation.

”Miss,” Jonah called out. Han Jie shook her head indicating that she needed to talk to Suzuki Kyou alone.

Han Jie released a deep breath before she got inside the room. Suzuki Kyou motioned for her to sit and that's what she did.

Suzuki Kyou sat on his office chair and immediately opened a folder.

”Kyou-” Han Jie opened her mouth but Suzuki Kyou raised his hand as if asking her to wait.

Han Jie frowned. She really wanted to start a conversation sooner since she just sneaked out. However, she did not expect for him to not do so.

'Am I supposed to wait for him? When will he finish from reading that folder?' Han Jie thought to herself unhappily.
