107 Went to Personally Apologize (2/2)

”I must have seen him last night,” Han Feng said with pained amusement. Han Jun noticed that and changed the subject.

”I have some ideas for the private meeting today.” Han Jun said as he followed his uncle into the dining room and stopped short, seeing his cousin Han Mei all dressed up and ready for business.

”Good morning, father.” Han Mei rushed out. ”How are you?” she asked.

He looked at his daughter helplessly and with a trace of pain. ”Much better, thank you. Where's your sister?” Han Feng asked eventually.

”She said she wanted to apologize to Suzuki Kyou personally about the lie. She will meet us there,” Han Jun said, ignoring his cousin's eyes.

Han Feng released a heavy sigh, ”I see. Tell me about your plans.” He said as he sat down and poured himself a cup of tea.

”Here's the plan...” Han Jun began as he poured himself a cup of coffee.

In a Private Jet…

He moved restlessly about his very comfortable chair in his private jet. He was tired, bored, and irritable, and he really wasn't in the mode for anything the plane had to offer. Worse yet, it had been less than a month since he'd been in the country, and he was not sure if he was glad to be back. It was the country where he almost lost his life after all.

Zang Fang stared at his laptop and moved away from it. He wanted nothing to do with the laptop. He was quite frankly tired of working or looking to another file of document.

He'd left the country to properly heal his wounds and to work, build a resort for the rich who wanted privacy. The construction business was one of his legit companies, and he wanted to keep it clean.

Zang Fang usually enjoyed being at a remote site. He loved the absence of people at times. Most importantly, he loved that his mother couldn't call him to talk about his children or the lack thereof of them. Or when his father could not force him to work on something he doesn't want to.

The building was in progress, and Zang Fang knew he would have to go back soon, but he couldn't quite muster up the enthusiasm he once had for his job.

Zang Fang had always loved his life. The stability, the constant, and the fact that it distracted him from the life he had built for himself. He knew he couldn't complain about his good fortune. Damn, who would complain when you were still alive handsome and rich?

But that didn't mean he didn't get tired of it occasionally.

Most people think that Zang Fang had been born with a silver spoon, but it was never easy to be one of his father's many children. Most would believe it was encrusted with diamonds as big as his fist. They wouldn't have been wrong in their assessment.

But his riches didn't stop him from working. In fact, it probably made him work twice as hard to prove a point. What point he wanted to prove, he wasn't quite sure yet. But something was still missing in his life…
