105 If Coke Cleaning Would Fix i (2/2)

Jonah: Yes, you ready to leave?

Han Jie rose a brow and stared at her phone. Was she really that predictable?

Jonah: Yes. I'll meet you on your floor.

Han Jie: I'll be waiting.

Han Jie grinned at her phone and left the suite.

'My escape help.' Han Jie grinned. This day was gearing up to be her lucky day.

Han Jie quickly got in the elevator and pressed the button for Jonah's floor. Han Jie got out her phone from her back pocket, where she had put it. Six am. Good, she was on time. Han Jie leaned back on the elevator back wall and stared at the shining buttons trying not to get nervous.

The elevator doors slid open, but before Han Jie could step out, Jonah walked in dressed similarly to her, except he had on boots. Han Jie grinned at him.

”Good morning.” Han Jie said.

”Good morning, miss,” Jonah replied and pressed the button for the garage.

”How did you know what I was planning to do?” Han Jie asked, intrigued.

”You wouldn't want to let your family lose something important to them, miss. So I knew you were going to do something like this.” Jonah replied, leaning on the wall beside her.

Han Jie sighed, feeling restless. ”Does that mean I'm predictable?” She asked, turning to look at Jonah.

Jonah laughed so hard he doubled over, tears gathering at the corner of his eyes.

”What? What's so funny?” Han Jie asked, sincerely confused.

”You are anything but predictable, miss,” Jonah said after he managed to catch his breath.

”But you knew I was going to go out today, what would stop the others from knowing where I'm going?” Han Jie asked quietly, still not reassured.

”They'll figure it out eventually, but it would be more of a possible thing to them. I also believed it was possible for you to want to help, so I was prepared.” Jonah said, sensing how important this was to Han Jie.

The ride to the garage became quiet after that. Each of them lost in their own thoughts. The drive to the Suzuki offices was just as quiet.

Han Jie nervously clutched her seatbelt in a death grip after Jonah parked his car across the street from the offices.

”It'll be OK, miss,” Jonah said with a smile.

Han Jie gave a strained smile in reply and nodded.

”He's here,” Jonah said as he watched Suzuki Kyou's car roll into the underground garage for the offices.

He and Han Jie got out of the car. Han Jie gave a small nervous smile to the security.
