His attention was getting to her head and when it was threatened to be shared, she was getting territorial and there was nothing else to it!
She gripped the spoon hard enough to bend it and steeled her heart before walking out of the Dining Area to head to her Penthouse which was now guarded by his people so there was no hazard in seeing it.
Dressing casually in jeans and a hoodie, she sat on the vanity table looking at her bare face. She looked at all the makeup that was piled and picked up the red lipstick. She applied only to remove it. He wasn't even here to see it! But why would she want to look pretty for him?! Arghhh…
No! She was trying to look pretty because she wanted to feel pretty! Yes, that is what it is! Her eyes trailed to the ring on her finger that was the most expensive gift ever given to her, vexing her further.
She slid open the drawer and saw the Barbell piercings he had gifted her but she never wore. She extended her hand to grab so she can wear it for him, men loved it when women cherished their gifts…
She huffed at her thoughts. Yes! She was trying to gain his affection and that had nothing to do with anything! It was just that she liked the attention and wanted his on her! Yes, this is it!
Touching the Sapphire, she was about to wear it when she retracted her hand. Wouldn't that be more seductive if she asked him to make her wear it? Her eyes gleamed with mischief as she formulated her seduction plan for him.

Qin Shen and Qin Wentian were waiting outside for her with the car ready. Looking at her Qin Shen eyes sparkled with an easy-going smirk while his cousin kept a straight face.
Out of the two, Qin Shen was the more outgoing and easy to get along with. Qin Wentian was closed off and an outright cold person. Qin Shen mock-saluted her, and bellow, ”Good Morning Madam Lei, your humble servant is present in your service.”
Qin Wentian looked about ready to strangle his cousin but instead turned to face her, ”Good Morning, Madam Lei. Excuse my brother's behavior. He is childish.”
Qin Shen gasped and exclaimed. He staggered back a few steps, holding his chest as if a bullet had struck him, his face twisted in various angles of pain ”You wound me!” Qin Wentian rolled his eyes and shook his head, seeming to give up on his cousin.
Lei Xinyi chuckled and shook her head, swatting her wrist in the air, ”It's okay, everyone can use a little humorless humor, and please call me Lei Xinyi. Madam Lei make me sound like as if I am some old haggard spinster.”
In fact, she really didn't like being called that but with people she didn't like associating with, she tried to keep the formalities intact so they stay within their limits but these two were good lads.
They spar every day with Li Yuan and she only spars with him, not that she was complaining. She was good but they fought like savages and she really didn't want her pretty skin to bruise up or worse her face to be busted.
Li Yuan just taught her moves and dragged her ass to the gym to exercise for a healthy body. She would have to say, she was thankful for his insistence now that she had this petite form.
