He quietened, gazed in her depthless eyes for what seemed like hours but had only been seconds. Bringing his hand to her face he caressed her cheek, Lei Xinyi's frown deepened but she doesn't pull away.

In the moonlight, he could tell why he was besotted to her, she was every inch a siren and on this rock, in front of the ocean, she sure was drowning him in her trance.

He gives her the sincerest of smiles he had ever bestowed on another being, ”If you are looking for some corny confession, I don't have that.” His other hand reached for her hand with his ring and kissed her fingers without once breaking eye contact,

”It's just what it is. You are beautiful so are other women but you are the most beautiful I know… though I might be biased.” He gives her one of his heart-stopping, panty-dropping smirks and pulled her closer to him so there were no barriers but sheer fabric between them.

He held her eyes as if he was in a trance and caressed her silky texture of skin. In the cold lonely night with only two of them, he whispered in his baritone deep voice that caressed her soul, ”Looking at you…I know I would steal the words from poets, I would scale the skies just to get you the heights that challenge you to land them in your feet but… but don't try anything, Lei Xinyi. I am not a man to be tested.”

Lei Xinyi stopped breathing at that moment she knew she was in too deep. Men like him didn't brew words to hook-up girls. They just didn't need to… Their wealth, fame and face did all the wooing for them.

She wanted to scream 'bloody murder' and run for the next possible exit. But she was frozen, possibly paralyzed, or was she even breathing?

Was she hallucinating?! Was it a joke??! She eagerly searched his face for any sign of it being a joke or pun that was intended but… NOTHING!!!

Her face reflected her horror; her eyes had widened and her skin turned pale while her mouth dropped open as the words were stuck in her mouth. Li Yaun squeezed her hand that was frozen still in his hands to get a reaction as she didn't really look good.

He was about to shake her into consciousness when she herself shook her head and put her hands on his chest to create some distance between them but he held her by the waist not allowing her to move.

”Lei Xinyi!” He shouted at her stopping her hysteric outburst, He sighed and pulled her closer to him further now that she was too limp to fight his hold, it was like she was exhausted all of a sudden.
