His assistant halted in his moment. His Master was asking about Li Yuan and Yu Youhan, the most dangerous men with volatile tempers in the continent like they were some troubling teens next door.
Sometimes he thought, in fact, Master Lu was the most powerful man instead, one of them was his ex-soon-to-be son-in-law and another was trying to take the position up. Such an influence!
”None Sir. I have been trying to set a meeting with them but their Assistants says that their schedule is pack.”
It was the truth and even a half baked man could tell it was deliberately they were trying to avoid him and it irked him. There were some already scheduled meetings with them which they cancelled without prior notice.
The Lu Corporation had many ongoing projects with both Li's and Yu's but the two arrogant brats were overlooking many facts like this one!
Master Lu gritted his teeth in frustrations, ”Arrange a meeting as soon as possible.”
”Yes, Sir.” His Assistant bowed and left at once.
Master Lu took a deep breath to calm himself before he wreaked havoc.
He had to deal with them but they were consciously avoiding confrontation. the engagement and the marriage now had to be dissolved with Li Yuan. Master Lu grimaced at the thought.
He was his best shot for Lu Xinyi but now he had a Lei woman pregnant. Even if he could still make Lu Xinyi his wife for her protection, the mother of his child will be out for Lu Xinyi's head sooner than later so it was better if she rested.
Even then he couldn't hand his only daughter to a man with another woman in his heart, that too with a child. The arrogant young man practically kissed the floor that girl walked on and that was something to say.
It was time to leave him behind...
And Yu Youhan was another story, Master Lu wasn't dense he could see the admiration in his eyes for Lu Xinyi but it could be a fling or an infatuation for him.
But for Lu Xinyi, it was going to be her first-ever relationship and to threaten or pressure Yu Youhan he had nothing, no contract, no years of immunisation. He could easily break Lu Xinyi's heart and move to another wench in line.
Not to mention his reputation of zero relationships! He paid women so none asked for anything more than he wanted to give...
The man was corrupt in his personal life, Master Lu wouldn't have such a sketchy man even a kilometre in her perimeter.
He wanted to warn him and repay him for whatever expenses he had spent on Lu Xinyi so his Little Pumpkin didn't think she owed anything to the man.
She was innocent, naive but an honest and loyal young woman; He would be damned if he let any bastard take advantage of that!
