168 Hasta La Vista (1/2)

She rode on the empty highway like a herd of bulls were chasing her. They were. If she was being straight forward about it.

Su Qianwei was a smart b*tch. She knew it was impossible to bring a weapon in the protected area the Mansion was situated in so she must have stolen from the Li's.

How she did that was a bright question mark on an ink-tar paper.

Getting out of the back gate when the front gate was blasted wasn't tough. She didn't even need to use a weapon. It looked like the Li's security sure was confident about their defences that they went into a shock then frenzy.

She stole a Harley from her neighbours as a goodbye gift. After all, she had been their neighbour for almost four weeks now. Lei Xinyi smirked at the thought. Li Yuan can pay for it as a payment for the headache he had caused her for months.

Li Yuan. She will...miss him but that would probably be when she would be drunk on a cheap whiskey in a cold night and reminiscing.

She didn't look back, not even once. That just wasn't her.

The typical reason, she liked him but she just loved herself more... Sounds cliche, but always get the job of convincing your heart for you. After all the people who are going to meat your flesh is not going to treasure your heart in a glass bottle!

If you leave, leave. Don't leave and wish you were there, no matter what your heart says, even if it slay your heart.

What is the value of a heart in a material world? Nothing just like a scum.

You either leave or you don't. Don't leave and still stay there for the rest of your life. That was what you call material world thing.

Li Yuan was going to know about her in some days. The wedding would have sealed her fate and now she couldn't use him as her sanctuary anymore.

What she did was nasty and stingy and it's not like she is proud of it but what has to be done must be done!

When he was going to know her truth he was going to roast her in their dungeons to extract information. After all their family had old feuds and generations-old vendettas.

The Harley was brand new and was a renowned model, though she doesn't recall what it was. Her heart was beating loud. The night was shunned in a pin-drop-silence but her mind and heart were as loud as a drum.

She had nothing to return to so why was leaving bothering her. At once Li Yuan kissing her passed by her brain.

She shook her head to get rid of the obnoxious thought. He would be the first to hand her to the gallows if he knew her.

She took out the bugged phone from her pocket and lit it up. She had eight minutes before they would catch up to her.

She needed to distract them. There was no way she could reach the port in eight-minute.

The bugged phone will do the job.

She was thinking of dropping it in the passing river but they will be able to see it on the map and tell it was a trick. Then her eyes landed on a load-truck that was running on the road ahead.

Lei Xinyi smirked and laid on the heavy bike. She wasn't wearing a helmet and the rush of the wind was hurting her eyes but robbers can't be choosers! There wasn't a helmet to be found.

She accelerated the bike and covered the distance between the truck and her bike. When the truck was adjacent to her, she slowed.

She took out the phone from her pocket and wished from God if she had done anything good in her life to let her find peace and calm in her this last escape.

This will be the last malicious thing she will do. She promised with her eyes closed.

It was one chance she will have if she failed to do it, she will die a gruesome death. If the phone fell down it would break alerting them or if it would bounce it would fall in the river.

Then they would catch her in a matter of minutes.
