In a trance, she walked to them and took out an orchid and smelled it. The smell had faded but the traces of it were left. She searched the drawer and found the hand-written card.

She would take this as a souvenir from him, she didn't have the heart to ask for more than she had already taken.

She sealed the carton and went out to join Madam Lu on Afternoon Tea. Lei Xinyi would smile often and give a soft reply to Madam Lu overexcited ones.

”Well, my phone battery is out. Can I use yours to text Li Yuan that I will be a little late?” Lei Xinyi asked after a while of chit-chatting.

Her phone was traced and she couldn't risk being caught halfway through her scheme. Any messages or calls she received or sent were being recorded and monitored.

”Yeah, sure. You can.” Madam Lu looked pleased that she was texting Li Yuan and for privacy even left the room to get more nutrient foods for her.

Lei Xinyi formated a coded message and sent it on Su Qianwei untraceable number then deleted all the trails of it from the records.

Then she spent half an hour more entertaining Madam Lu then excused herself. If she left right away it would have looked suspicious.

”Can I take a car? I have sent my driver back as I intended to buy a special present for Li Yaun.” Lei Xinyi smiled and lied with convenience.

Li Yuan's driver would have informed him of her activities at once so he wasn't an option. She couldn't hire a cab and lose Li Yuan's dogs because sure as hell they didn't teach that in driving classes. Their major work was to make sure she didn't 'stray'.

So she had to do that other own.

Madam Lu frowned her thin arched brow, ”Lu Xinyi, you don't know how to drive.” At once the smile on her face turned forced.

”Li Yuan taught me.” Lei Xinyi said too fastly for it to be the truth but Madam Lu didn't notice it instead an expression of pleasant surprise took over her face.

”Did he?” Lei Xinyi nodded in response, ”That's so good. He cares about you! Lu Xinyi, you are so lucky!”

She had an urge to roll her eyes at the frisky woman. She learned how to drive when she wasn't even legal to drive!

”I know.” Lei Xinyi smiled and took the keys from the maid and walked to the garage with a hurried step.

She drove for 55 minutes, 29 minutes to losing the dogs, and 26 minutes to reach her destination.

It was a no-go area. A very underdeveloped locality that was owned by a Cartel Boss. Lei Xinyi parked the Mustang she had taken with her at a little distance away from the locality and then walked to the nearest Pub.

She sat there without ordering anything except water, you couldn't trust a place where a criminal ruled. She really didn't want scum to kick to the curb on a busy day like today.

She sat here for 17 minutes when she saw a redhead entering the Pub door through the front door.
