117 McGrath and Dynn: Part 17 (1/2)

Friday, 12th of December 2020. 2345 Hours. Residential Area. Government Facility. Site ”Trinity”.

Two people were inside a black SUV that was parked in front of an abandoned warehouse. Both of them were wearing a heavy-duty military suit while holding heavy weaponry. They were Clara and Lizeth.

”So... Now?” Lizeth held the helmet of the suit firmly with the grenade launcher on top of her thigh.

”Yeah, no need for codenames or bullshit. This is once for all,” Clara wore the helmet and pulled the charging handle of her LWMMG.

Lizeth hit the pedal gas as hard as she could and she rammed that car to the abandoned warehouse. The gate that was surrounding the warehouse immediately fell to the ground. Not stopping there, the car immediately rammed the main door of that warehouse. They gained access to that warehouse.

Inside that warehouse, the car arrived at an empty space that was located inside that warehouse itself. In short, there wasn't anything there, not even a trace of a person or a living creature.

”Lizeth, are you sure this is the right place?” Clara asked as she looked around the warehouse.

”Yup, this is the right place. But well, there's no one here, to be honest,” Clara said as Lizeth got out of that car in that anti-climactic event. She thought that they might have missed something.

Lizeth remembered something, it was a disguised building. There must be a secret entrance or some sort inside that warehouse.

Lizeth immediately searched around that empty warehouse while Clara just stared at Lizeth in confusion since she had no idea what was Lizeth doing. She didn't want to ask Lizeth either, but she couldn't just stand around while looking at her who was searching for something.

”Lizeth, what are you looking for?” Clara asked.

”I'm looking for a door or some sort. You have the blueprint of this warehouse, right?” Lizeth asked and Clara looked at the car. She grabbed a blueprint from that car and Lizeth immediately took the blueprint from Clara's hand.

Lizeth looked at that blueprint and started searching for an entry point in that warehouse. In that warehouse, there wasn't anything except for the remnants of an office quarter and there wasn't any sign of life in that office quarter either.

”Clara, you know what I'm thinking? Let's check that office and see what we can find,” Lizeth asked and both of them walked to the office box with their weapon in front of their shoulder.

Lizeth kicked the front door of that office quarter and she found a desk, a chair, a table, and an abandoned working cabinet.

Lizeth thought again for a second for a solution that would gain her access to the secret section of that abandoned section of the warehouse.

Lizeth approached Clara and Clara pointed her hands under that desk. She immediately pulled out the key card under her magazine pocket and swiped the key card in the card reader under the table.

In second, a ramp appeared in that abandoned warehouse. Lamps started shining above that warehouse and Clara immediately walked outside of that office quarter with her weapon in front of her shoulder. The ramp was big enough for a car to fit in.

”Let's just use the car and find out what is waiting for us at the end of that ramp,” Clara said as she walked into the car and Lizeth walked to the driver's seat.

Lizeth started the engine of that Suburban and she drove to the ramp that led to the secret government facility on that abandoned warehouse. She drove to the secret government complex.

The wall for that complex was filled with a logo that was from a well-known biopharmaceutical industry in that country. Below the logo, there was a writing that said Trinity program. They must be in the right place.

”Prepare yourself! In front of us, there could be a guard checkpoint,” Lizeth said as she raised the grenade launcher with her left hand and opened the window of that car to make sure that she could have a clear shot on the guards that were guarding the checkpoint.

As expected, there was a checkpoint in front of them and several special forces, soldiers, in that checkpoint. They would tell Clara and Lizeth to stop, so Lizeth took the initiative to kill them.

”Clara, open fire!” Lizeth shouted as she shot her grenade launcher at the guards on that checkpoint. The bodies of those guards were immediately thrown to a wall behind that checkpoint and once again, the car rammed the gate of that guard post.

”ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! FACILITY EMERGENCY!” the alarm was triggered and the guards would be on maximum alert. It was up to both of them to repel the guards' defense without resulting in them dying.

”Park the car here!” Clara shouted as they arrived in a car park on that first floor of that government facility.
