74 Old Friend: Part 17 (2/2)

”Duh, let me join in will ya?” Lynn grabbed her baton and started beating up the attackers.

Their movement was efficient and deadly, the kendo club members who were rented by the bullies knew that they were holding back. Their movement was designed to kill, not to disable, that was the main reason why the kendo club thought that. They were putting their defensive stance with their bamboo sword.

Lynn ran towards them and smashed that bamboo sword to bits, ”Good stance, but useless,” she said as she hit the torso of that student with her baton. The last student that was holding a bamboo sword was peeing in her pants before Clara slammed her to the ground with her baton. Lizeth was dealing with the goons that were trying to attack her with brass knuckles.

Lizeth hit her hands and she screamed in pain, ”Bad choice of weapon sweetheart,” she kicked her crotch and tackled her with her baton. Clara looked at the other students who were shivering in fear as their aces were knocked out by three of them.

They proceeded to beat the crap out of the students that were trying to attack them. The real threats were the seniors and the kendo club members, the rest of them were punching bags for Lizeth, Clara, and Lynn.

”Damn,” Lynn looked at the students who were laying on the ground in pain. The only student that passed out was the one that Lynn threw to the bookrack. The others were disabled by Clara and Lizeth.

”Who are you?” Lizeth approached Lynn.

”Me?” Lynn asked.

”Yes.”

”I was a martial artist back in my old school. Is it that hard to be believed?” Lynn asked Lizeth.

”Clara, Where did you learn that?” Lizeth asked her.

”I was taught by my father to defend myself hehe,” she said.

”Oh, ok,” Lizeth said and Lynn asked her the same question more or less.

”Where did you learn how to use a baton?” Clara asked Lizeth.

”Mmmmmm,” Lizeth had a hard time to answer that, but the next problem came in. It was a blitz from a camera. All of them noticed that it was from the newspaper club member camera. She caught them with their pants down, she photographed three of them standing between the students that were laying down in pain.

If someone looked at that picture, they would think that they beat up the ”Innocent” students in that school. The picture needed to be deleted immediately.

”OY!” Lynn shouted in that direction. Lizeth put her baton in her pocket and gave a chase to that newspaper club member that was running.

”STOP!” Lizeth went running after her. She was smart, she threw chairs

that was in the corridor to obstruct her.

The girl kept running until she reached the building where the newspaper club was located. The student locked the door behind her. The newspaper club room was locked. Lynn called her.

Lynn: ”Hi. Just wondering. Did you get her yet? We're done moving the wounded students to the infirmary. The teacher acknowledged that we're doing it in self-defense.”

Lizeth: ”That was fast.”

Lynn: ”Clara helped me.”

Lizeth: ”Well, I guess the students will think that we attacked first.”

Lynn: ”Why?”

Lizeth: ”Because it sounds better that way.”

Lizeth closed the phone and knocked on the door of that newspaper club room. Knocking meant kicking and punching that door until the person inside of that room decided to open that door.

”OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR!” Lizeth shouted.

”The headlines for tomorrow will be, ”The Library Club Turned Violent.” It will cause quite a ride don't you think?” A voice said from the other side of the door.

”OPEN THE DOOR!” Lizeth shouted again. She put her ear to the door and heard the conversation between the club members.

”Hmm, nice. Those misfits will be expelled right?”

”Yeah. Except for Iris.”

”Iris is one of us isn't she?”

”I'm not so sure about that.”

”The bottom line is three of them will be expelled. At least our senior is smart enough to attack them when Iris isn't there.”

”Shit,” Lizeth gave one last kick to that door. She left the door furiously. She needed to do something about that picture. It mustn't enter the headlines. She had an emergency plan. She would infiltrate the newspaper club that night. It was the only way to save her reputation with a minimal amount of damage done.
