Chapter 28 (2/2)
After he left, Joshua shouted at Georgi in the distance. “Tonight, Alger and his wife are coming to my house for dinner. Will you be coming as well?”
Hearing the mention of Alger, Georgi immediately became happy. “Of course!”
“Let’s go back together when the training is over!”
It was a little dark. Josh and Georgi returned home.
Before entering the door, they could smell a fragrance from outside the house. As soon as they reached the door, they heard Alger talking to his wife, Marie.
Because the sound was very loud, people would think that they were arguing.
Opening the door, Josh said to Alger, “Look who’s here!”
“Ah! Georgi, long time no see!”
Recently, Alger had been busy with the construction of the Science and Technology Academy, so it was difficult to meet Georgi, who was deploying the training plan.
After the two of them hugged each other, everyone immediately sat down at the table.
“Alger, I heard that the progress of the Science and Technology Academy has been very smooth.”
“Of course! With me, everything goes off without a hitch!” As he said that, he patted his own chest.
Seeing that Alger was working so hard, Joshua immediately took out the basic manufacturing book that was stored in his system inventory.
Simple furniture, basic defense facilities, basic attack facilities, drainage channels, water filtration, road construction techniques…
There were six books in total, and a thick stack was all given to Alger.
“Keep these well. These are all important resources. From now on, we’ll need to think about the village’s future!”
Because of Georgi’s presence, Alger held back from opening these books right there and then.
Then, he wrapped the books in a piece of cloth and handed them to his more attentive wife.
Seeing this scene, Marie was extremely pleased. His other half had finally grown up. He was finally no longer the crazy person who began to study regardless of the occasion.
Seeing that everyone had arrived and was seated, Joshua raised the wine glass in his hand and said to everyone, “To the future of tomorrow’s village! Cheers!”
Everyone picked up their glasses and clinked their glasses with each other.
The dinner lasted for a long time until Joshua, Alger, and Georgi were almost drunk.
When he returned to his room, it was already late at night. Joshua stared at the ceiling in a daze.
“Time really flies. It has been almost four months since I came here. I’ve completed the construction of a fully functional village!”
Lena, who was sleeping beside him, leaned on Joshua’s shoulder.
When she heard this, she replied, “Will your father be shocked to see what you have done?”
Joshua thought about it carefully and said with a smile, “He might not have paid attention to me at all!”
Because Joshua had already inherited the First Prince’s memories, he now had two people’s memories.
These memories were constantly fusing together, causing Joshua to gradually have some subtle changes. Even he himself could not clearly explain what these changes were.
Seeing that Joshua’s expression was not very happy, Lena closed her eyes and leaned against him, falling asleep.
Feeling the faint breathing sounds on the side, Joshua could not help but feel happy.
If he was still in his original life, he would most probably still be gaming online at the moment.
