Chapter 218 - Explosive Cavalry (1/2)

The chat didn’t understand his moves either, it could even be said that it was completely out of their scope of knowledge.

“Is Chen Mo messing around? There’s no way that’s going to work? Where’s the damage?”

“Look at what he has equipped! Aquila Cuirass, Swiftmount, Leoric’s Crown, Belt of the Trove, Hexing Pants of Mr Yan… They look good on paper but are completely useless!”

“Maybe he’s not going for set bonuses, using the set bonus of the rings to increase his damage?

“Maybe because Xue’s equipment is too garbage and this was the best he could do. But I’m still wondering, sure the attributes are high, but I feel that it just doesn’t work… Will this actually help Xue to reach floor 45?”

“Have you guys noticed that Chen Mo went for thorns on all his equipment. Is that… even useful?”

“I’ve got a Crusader too, let me see… Oh! You can turn your damage into thorns damage through runes! That means Chen Mo plans to use thorns as his main damage source!”

“Is that so. I understand it better now. No wonder he brought Iron Maiden as one of his passive. But I still don’t really understand, the equipment looks good, but does it really work?”

The chat was filled with question marks.

Most were looking forward to the performance of the build as they knew that this wasn’t something Chen Mo pulled out of nowhere and must’ve had his own ideas in mind.

Chen Mo started a Greater Rift with the Crusader.

Lin Xue’s previous record was forty-one floors. It wasn’t even a clean victory as she slowly stumbled through sheer luck.

The higher levels of Nephalem Rift have yet to be unlocked, so it was impossible for Chen Mo to go straight to level sixty. This meant Chen Mo had to continue where Lin Xue left off.

After being teleported into the Greater Rift, hordes of monsters started charging in!

There were many more monsters in Greater Rift than the usual story mode, so this was much more graphically intense than usual.

Chen Mo wasn’t phased by this as he used Steed Charge right away. The warhorse the Crusader turned into a shadow under the Crusader and charged directly into the hordes of monsters.

This felt like a sudden, huge acceleration comparable to putting on the throttle on a motorbike.

The chat was shocked, what’s going on?

There was one yellow and three blue elites among the monsters with plenty more smaller ones. Isn’t it suicidal to charge in like that?

The Crusader charged right into where the monsters were most dense. The monsters all followed him and formed a huge bunch.

The Crusader let out an angry growl as they used Consecration, Akarat’s Champion, Iron Skin and Bombardment. Barrels started appearing from the skies dealing massive damage to the mobs.

At the same time, numbers started appearing on the screen. The weaker mobs started dying left and right, and the elite mobs were taking huge damage as well.

Lin Xue was shocked to see this terrifying speed!

She really struggled to beat this previously, and died numerous times. She didn’t dare aggro so many mobs at the same time too as she took every step carefully.

However, Chen Mo didn’t even seem to care, charging right into where the mobs are most dense. The bonus of the ring was incredible as the mobs died under all the damage as Chen Mo pressed the 1234 keys on the keyboard, casting whichever abilities were off cooldown.

Moreover, Chen Mo’s horse never slowed down and pretty much always maintained Steed Charge. The hordes of mobs couldn’t stop him at all as he moved wherever he pleased.

It didn’t take long for Chen Mo to clear the Greater Rift. It seemed pretty easy too as it wasn’t mechanically intensive. It was like a trip to the mall as the Crusader walked around the map, leaving behind corpses in their wake.

Lin Xue was completely shocked, “Manager… Are you and I playing on the same account?”
