Chapter 120 - Ganging Up? (1/2)
Digwa played as usual, leveling up quickly using its water elemental, taking over mines in the process.
Silents Night Elves on the other hand had a different strategy, building an Ancient of War that produces Archers close to a neutral camp, clearing the camp using the Ancient of War and Archers once the Brewmaster was done training.
the viewers weren’t surprised as he used this strategy every time he played Night Elves. Everyone had their focus on the Pandaren Brewmaster as it was the only thing that wasn’t as usual.
“Wow, Silent’s Wisps had discovered the human’s were rotating, they know that the humans are going to another mine, but the Pandaren is still grinding for levels. Is this for mining?
“Nope! Silent has no plans to go for mines. He’s spamming low-tier units, trying to do some early fighting!
“It’s coming, the level three Pandaren Brewmaster with archers and mercenaries behind him are rushing towards the Human mine! The army is here!
Gourd was shocked as he thought Silent was going Demon Hunter as usual, but by the time he realised, the Pandaren was almost level three!
The level three Panda with archers behind him charged straight towards the mine, which at this point only had three Guard Towers.
As there wasn’t a need for many towers in the early game, three Guard Towers were plenty.
Pandaren Brewmaster went first, breathing fire on all three Guard Towers and a few more Peasants!
“Whoosh!”
Combined with the focus fire from the Archers, the Guard Tower had half its health left!
Silent hadn’t researched nor mined, instead focused on training archers and buying cheap mercenaries from the Mercenary Camp. The Humans on the other hand focused on building instead, meaning that the two players had completely different armies.
Gourd started to panic, knowing that it couldn’t be a good thing to see the Pandaren, immediately spamming Arcane towers. However it was already too late, the Pandaren spent all its mana breathing fire, and would hit multiple towers and Peasants every time. All the towers were gone after a few more breaths!
Gourd tried to build towers and upgrade them, but with only an Archmage and Footmen, the difference in strength was clear. The Pandaren came back immediately after going back to base to regain mana after the first attack!
And after the second attack, Gourd was forced to give up that mine.
The worst thing was that the Night Elves only just the Panda, meaning that it gained significant levels after killing all the Peasants. And the resulting high level Breath of Fire was even more difficult to deal with.
It didn’t take long after losing the mines for Gourd to condeed.
There wasn’t anything else he could do after losing all the mines and giving away so much XP. The Pandaren was stomping all over him, and there was nothing stopping it.
The chat was shocked too, how could Gourd’s towers be destroyed so easily?
How could a strategy that had beaten so many players last night be dismantled so easily? Just from one Pandaren Brewmaster?
“What is this? I just realised how squishy the towers are? They lose half their health from one Breath of Fire!”
“The worst is when your Peasants are caught in it, you can’t fix your buildings at all!”
“Do you think Gourd-god would’ve been better off with a few more Arcane Towers?
“Most likely, but Gourd-god didn’t know he was going to face Pandaren!”
“So what if he knew. You saw how quickly the towers melted from the Breath of Fire.”
“My goodness, Silent is a beast. He used his strategy to destroy Nightwind-god yesterday, and dismantled that same strategy today? Crazy.”
“Get out of the way, I’m on team S-god now!”
