Chapter 585 - An interesting meeting (2/2)

Easy for him to kiss her lips once she was no longer care about he would ruin her bun. Surely she would no longer care about the wrinkle after the site visit?

He drove the car smoothly toward a construction site. He parked it at the empty space and gave a serious nod at the two men who were waiting for them. He handed one hard cap to Ryn before wearing one himself. Then, he followed the men with Ryn beside him, listening to the explanation of the men about the project. They did not go upstairs but just checked what was done and what would be done in a month or two. Jeremy asked quite a lot of questions regarding the project, especially whether it could complete according to the time. The men reassured him everything was going according to the plan and it would complete either before or on the date.

Jeremy nodded approvingly and gave a short speech to praise the workers and also to give them encouragement. Then, he helped Ryn into the car before he drove the car away, this time, instead of heading straight to the office, he brought her to a restaurant to have lunch.

They spent quite a long of time at the site and with the hot weather, it would be reasonableble for his love to be thirsty and hungry.

He did not book beforehand. Hence, he asked the waiter if they could sit at the corner of the restaurant so they could have their privacy.

Ryn handed the menu back once she ordered what she wanted. She then took out her phone and checked if she missed any message or call.

There was only a message from Mei Li. Her manager was reminding her about the job tomorrow. The tour would start next week so she still has time to squeeze in some jobs before she started her practical training officially.

Ryn gave her confirmation and reminded Mika what time she wanted Mika to pick her up. Although she already has a car, for the weeks she was squeezing jobs before the training, she preferred to have Mei Li to accompany her.

The health would be checked daily during the tour.

On Jeremy's part, he has told them that he would still do his business work during his free time and Ryn would help him. He reassured them that it would not affect the concert at all because he would do his business work during the day while the concert would be at night.

He knew he had to juggle everything carefully or he would be overwhelmed with everything. But he believed with Ryn by his side, everything will work out according to plan. Ryn would do her best and might even forget the fact that they were in a relationship during her working mode. And he believed, even though he would wish she would not ignore their relationship during work, she would still take care that he would not get too exhausted mentally and physically. She was a caring person and he believed in that side of her.

Their food arrived and the couple ate their food calmly. Despite Ryn having a question regarding the site visit just now, she knew it was not the appropriate time to ask. She held herself and quickly ate her pasta.

Jeremy insisted for them to have a dessert before they left. It was hot outside and what would be better than having an ice cream on such a hot day? Jeremy even helped to take a photo of her eating her ice cream for today's post on her Instagram account. He knew she hasn't posted anything yet today because she was busy taking notes or reading messages. Not once did he see her lifting her phone to take a photo.

”Can we?” he asked, asking her permission for a photo of them so he could post it in his account. He did not mind if she did not want to post it in hers but he wanted one for today.

She quickly adjusted her bowl of ice cream, checked her face using the camera apps before she posed. He smiled widely as his finger tapped for the camera to catch the moment.

One was enough because both of them were a visual couple and professionals in taking photos. He quickly posted it to his account with the caption, 'having lunch with my love' and tagged her account. He put down his phone on the table proudly and looked at her with the smile still on his handsome face.

”Just a photo and you are this happy?” she shook her head in bemused.

”Because I'm with you,” he replied unashamedly.

She rolled her eyes at his words. He could be quite a flirt if he wanted to. At least now his mood was better than this morning.. She really disliked that side of him.
