349 Ryns little hobby (2/2)

”I was shocked when I saw her in the episode of 'A Day In My Busy Life'. Her life is so normal and… she doesn't seem to pretend in the episode. She just eats whatever she wants,” the makeup artist mused.

”What episode?” the nail sticker girl asked. She did not watch television much. But she did hear about the program. Some people said that the artists who appeared in the program were acting and they even called the interior designer to redecorate their house. Hence, she never had any interest in watching them. Besides, she was too exhausted to do anything except sleeping once she got home.

The makeup artist told her which one and even sent her the URL for the said episode in the Youtube channel.

The girl, when she went home, she quickly checked the episode while waiting for her food to be reheated in the microwave. Her eyes widened as the minutes passed. This… was this a normal lifestyle of a model?

And what did the title mean by 'How many steaks Catherine can eat a day?'

She was intrigued with the title and kept on watching even when inhaling her fried rice.

Ryn checked her phone while Mei Li drove the car. She had another job for today. Luckily the shooting ended within the expected time so they had the time to go to the next location.

And they would not be late, Mei Li sighed in relieved when she went to pick her up just now.

”I've posted the picture for today,” Ryn said suddenly. She checked her account again to ensure the post was published correctly. And then, she kept her phone aside and looked into the packets.

”What are those?” Mei Li asked, glancing at them.

”Nail stickers. Don't you think they are pretty?” Ryn said happily. She even waved her nails at her manager to show off.

”No wonder your nails are so colourful,” Mei Li commented. She had never seen Ryn this excited before and was quite shocked but managed to cover herself. Ryn was such a calm woman except when she was frustrated with Jeremy before their rekindled relationship.

”Yes. I like them. I even get more from them,” Ryn shook her packets happily.

”Good for you,” Mei Li replied before frowned, ”Do you want to eat first or eat over there?”

”Eat over there. I hope they provide a lot of food. I'm starving,” Ryn rubbed her stomach sadly. The food she ate before was all gone, digested after working for the shooting. She needed to refuel but at the same time, she did not want to be late for her next job.

”How about I send you first. We'll check whether the food is enough for you. If not, I'll buy something for you to eat during the makeup session, okay?” Mei Li suggested.

”Okay,” Ryn agreed immediately. She now could not wait for them to arrive so she could check the food. Hopefully, it was enough for her.

The car moved swiftly toward the next location with both women having different thought. Ryn was thinking about food while Mei Li was thinking about the schedule tomorrow. She also needed to adjust Ryn's schedule to allow her time for practice for the driving test. Of course, according to Mr Jacko that Ryn had improved so much but Mei Li was worried it was only this one time. She needed to make sure Ryn could drive the car before the test or she knew Ryn would be devastated if she failed.

An hour later, they finally arrived at the studio. Ryn looked at her nails sadly. It was too festive for the next shooting. Without wasting another moment, she handed her phone to Mei Li who was just done parking the car.

”Please take my picture,” she said.

Mei Li complied. She opened the camera application and adjusted the setting. And then, she focussed on Ryn who was already placing her fingers against her cheeks, fully showing those nail stickers. And then, she changed into another pose for Mei Li to take.

Ryn was finally satisfied after five photos. She took the phone from her manager and checked her photos. A smile never left her face as she scrolled from one photo to another.

”If you like them, you can post them in your IG account,” Mei Li suggested.

Ryn did just that. She did not type any word for caption, just an emoticon of a smiley face with hearts on the eyes. And instead of choosing one or two, she posted all.

”Okay, can we go now?” Mei Li asked, checking the time.

”Hmm…” Ryn grabbed her bag and got out of the car. She followed Mei Li into the building. She was a bit sad because she knew the beautiful stickers on her nails would be taken off. Sigh. The downside of being a model, she guessed. Unless, after the nail sticker's shooting she did not have another job waiting, then she could keep the stickers longer.
