Chapter 16.1 - Drama Queen and Provocateur (2/2)

Ji Yuan was a beautiful-looking man dressed in red with lips scarlet as blood. He looked shockingly demonic. When she thought of the descriptions of what Ji Yuan did to Liu Qing Yin after kidnapping her, all the heat, the deep pants, the flexibility of his ***, as well as the Blood Puppet…Lin Jiu’s face quietly turned hot.

After remembering the plot, Lin Jiu looked at this old veteran demonic cultivator in front of her, and Lin Jiu felt that every part of him was super sexy.

Calm down, calm down! Lin Jiu shook her head and stared at Ji Yuan’s left hand. Both his hands were hidden in his wide red sleeves so she couldn’t see anything unusual.

When Ji Yuan saw Wei Liang, he lifted his sleeve and saluted him like a young man performing on a stage. “Sword Monarch. I’ve heard so much about you,” he said, his voice dripping with evil.

When he uttered the word “sword”, Wei Liang’s flying sword suddenly sprung from his side. The blade hidden behind tinkling falling ice crystals, it was like a white thread that was cutting straight for Ji Yuan’s left arm.

Ji Yuan’s salute was unfettered, but blood-colored skulls burst open one after another in the emptiness behind him, resisting Wei Liang’s sword until Ji Yuan finished his salute. By the time he said the last word, there were already hundreds of illusory skulls under Wei Liang’s sword.

After the pleasantries, Ji Yuan’s figure looked like it was under the water, swaying gently and disappearing in place.

The flying sword cut through the air and slashed into the ground.

“Haha, hahahaha….” Evil laughter surrounded them. Countless echoes stirred up in the air as his voice bounced around the falling ice crystals. “The techniques of the Sword Monarch…has not improved, but rather deteriorated!”

Lin Jiu’s vision suddenly became blurry. She blinked her eyes and looked around.

She saw a red shadow hidden beneath the falling pieces of the shattered skull, leaving a strange line wherever it went, outlining a pattern similar to a hexagram.

The ice crystals continued to fall, but the red pattern did not move and remained in place. This strange combination of movement and stillness caused Lin Jiu’s heart to darken at the sign of a bad premonition.

“Be careful, he seems to be setting up a magic array,” Lin Jiu warned.

Wei Liang’s thin lips curved up slightly.

The wandering and mysterious voice of Ji Yuan suddenly came from above them. “Ten thousand…demons…heart…execution…”

It was as if his voice was materializing and merging into the red lines. The red lines quickly solidified and created a huge crimson array that hung ethereally above the heads of Wei Liang and Lin Jiu.

Wei Liang’s fingers came together, and the flying sword embedded in the ground lifted off in a clank, cutting through the red lines! The sword that seemed like it could break through the chaos of heaven and earth passed straight through the array without any hindrance.

“Heh,” Ji Yuan laughed. “No need to waste your efforts, Sword Monarch. This is something I’ve been preparing for many days just for you. All that was missing was the opportunity… Tsk, if I had known you had regressed to this state, I would not have spent so much effort.”

Scarlet light spun around in the array as the nodes were activated one after the other. As the light flittered past, the array flickered wildly like a broken light bulb.

The flashing dazzled Lin Jiu. As soon as she made a noise, she felt a large hand covering her face.

Her vision went dark, and the cold, dark fragrance which belonged to Wei Liang slowly invaded her senses.

Lin Jiu blinked her covered eyes and felt her long eyelashes brush along his calloused palm.

Her heart suddenly felt much calmer.

Huh? Hold on!
