Chapter 1123: King Brutus (1/2)
With the death of King Glaucus, there is no king for the Mountain lion woods and Ajax was waiting for something from the King realm cultivators. So, he didn't say anything and just waited while listening to the system notifications in his head.
'Ding,
The host's contracted spirit beast killed a mid-level King realm cultivator.

The host gained 1000 spirit points.
'Only spirit points?'
Ajax was disappointed with the reward for killing a mid-level king realm; however, he shook his head as killing King Glaucus was not in his initial plan.
'Since the complete body is devoured by Alder, I hope his cultivation increases.'
If he had the body of King Glaucus, he would have refined it using the Arcance spirit turtle; however, the devourer eagle king swallowed the complete body as though the divine dragon beside him would ask for a share.
”Brother Brutus, why don't you become the King of Mountain lion woods?”
All of a sudden, one of the King realm mountain lions asked Brutus to be their King.
”Me?”
Brutus raised his brows as he shook his head before saying, ”Right now, I am not eligible to be your king as I already accepted someone as my master. I have to follow him and try my best to raise the face of our mountain lion race.”
It was the basic rule of the mountain lion race that the king of the mountain should be his own master.
If there was something, he could choose to ally with other forces; however, accepting others is not acceptable.
”Even though you become someone's follower, other than you, there is no one who is more qualified than you to be our King.”
”That's right, brother Brutus. Please become our King and guide the mountain lions to glory.”
”I agree with that decision.”
”Me too.”
Soon, one after another mountain lions showed their support to Brutus in becoming the King of the mountain lion woods.
”Th...this is...”
Brutus didn't know what he had to do as he looked at Ajax before asking for a suggestion.
For the first time in his life, Brutus felt like taking the suggestions from Ajax and that's the reason why he became Ajax's follower.
”Regarding this, I will not say anything. It is your race and you have to be responsible for whatever decision you make.”
However, Ajax didn't give any suggestions at the start; however, he thought of something before saying, ”However, it will be a good thing for you to become the King because everyone will listen to you unless you go down the same path as your previous king.”
After saying that, Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face.
'I think all these king realm mountain lions are adamant on making Brutus their King. I guess I will not ask anyone to become my follower.'
In the next second, Ajax thought about his mission 'Gain the followers' and looking at how serious the mountain lions were, he didn't want to change their beliefs by asking them to become his followers.
If he did that, he would lose the loyalty of Brutus who can single-handedly control all the mountain lions once he becomes their King.
So, Ajax concluded the mission and waited for the four smaller world's word cores.

The host terminated the mission.
