Chapter 950: Tricking the Spirit Crane (2/2)
After learning the Ajax was actually tasked by the 'Crowned Turquoise Queen', she nodded her head and hurriedly apologized to Ajax.
”It's nothing. So, what is your decision?”
Ajax asked the spirit crane once again and compared to before, he was a little bit more confident in the spirit crane's reply.
'Human, can you tell me what kind of danger I am in and how it will affect my master.'
The spirit crane didn't want to come to a decision without knowing the full details regarding the danger for her and her master. So, she asked Ajax to explain more.
'Looks like it is working.'
Ajax became excited with her reply and nodded his head.
Since he was not rejected now, Ajax's confidence rose even more.
”Do you know what race the spirit consciousness beside you in the secret space belong to?”
Once again, Ajax started with a question; however, he didn't wait for the reply from the spirit crane as he continued, ”He is a dragon and that too he is an aqua dragon who is known for his arrogance and pride. According to the Crowned Turquoise Queen, he will devour you to increase his bloodline to 100 percent and if Princess Daphne comes in the middle, she will be killed too.”
”So, the choice is yours to decide. Poor crowned turquoise queen, she was trying to protect you.”
Ajax put a sad look on his face as he ended his explanation.
'What? Will he kill Princess Daphne? But the royal king will protect her daughter, right?'
Finally, the spirit crane completely believed Ajax's story because how would he know all those things if he was not tasked by the crowned turquoise queen?
However, what she didn't understand was how that dragon would kill her and Princess Daphne in the royal palace?
”Do you really believe that the royal king will save her daughter if someone offers a valuable item that assists others into entering the king realm?”
'What?'
How could Ajax let her just use the royal king to decline his offer? So, with a serious look on his face, he asked the spirit crane that made the 'Little blue' to fall into a dilemma.
'Speaking of my master's father, I never saw him speak to her from my childhood.'
The spirit crane was living with Princess Daphne for a couple of years now and when she heard Ajax's words, she thought about King Stephen and felt Ajax's words are true.
'Also, I think, you must have noticed how powerful the spirit consciousness of the aqua dragon was, so, I will leave that decision to you.'
While the spirit crane was still thinking about Ajax's words, he didn't want to give more time for the spirit crane to think and as the saying goes 'Hit the iron while it's still hot', Ajax added another point that made the spirit crane shiver.
