'Phew'

The first thing the star Lynx did after releasing his 'Starlight Energy Beam' was to jump back and when there was no reflection of his skill, he heaved a sigh of relief.

Even though he was almost sure that the skill-reflection property of the barrier was destroyed with the appearance of the crack, he could not help but have a slight fear because his own skill had some good damage to his body.

'What?'

In the next second, the Star lynx along with the two other guardians were shocked to see that the barrier was still not destroyed.

Except for a few more new cracks, it was still staying strong.

However, inside the barrier, Geron was entirely covered in his own blood as he revealed an evil smile on his face.

”You said you heard the biggest joke in your life, right?”

Even with all the blood and injuries on his face, Geron looked at Start lynx with an evil smile as he continued, ”You won't have another day to live anymore...Haha.”

Geron was in human form from the start and the evil smile on his face looked even crueller because of his innate bestial nature.

'Huh?'

Hearing Geron's words, the three guardians were puzzled as they didn't understand where he was getting the courage to speak like that in front of them.

”Now, I already wasted too much time with you. Die”

Geron looked very excited for reason and after finishing his words, he snapped his fingers.

As soon as he did that, the barrier finally cracked into pieces which made the guardians laugh; however, their happiness didn't last for much longer as an energy beam that looked like the one released by the Star lynx came out from the tree treant in front of Geron.

However, compared to the Star Lynx's starlight energy beam, this one looked much more powerful than the earlier one.

'Boom'

They didn't even have the time to dodge as the starlight energy beam engulfed all three guardians within seconds and a huge explosion was resounded in that area that alerted the other spirit beast kings from the nearby territories.

'What is that explosion?'

'It is coming from the direction of the king's cave,'

'Is someone fighting at that place?'

'I should go and check out who dares to fight at the place?'

'Is it finally time for fighting for the king's position?'

Even though the explosion was loud, only three spirits beast kings, who were near to the king's cave were able to notice it and hurriedly rushed towards Geron.

All the three were not worried in the least bit; instead, they were excited for some reason.

'Thud'

In front of the king's cave, Geron slumped to the ground as he looked at the three spirit beasts' corpses in front of him.

Looking at the corpses, Geron heaved a sigh of relief and at the same time, he thought, 'Even though I killed them, I depleted the 50 percent of my life energy,'

Thinking about how much he had lost in this fight with the guardians, Geron could not help but become sad.

When human or spirit beasts are born, they have 100 percent of life energy and with time, that life energy continues to decrease till they start their cultivation journey.

Even though with each break through in the cultivation, there will a time where your cultivation stops progressing and your life energy's depletion will be increased to a huge margin.

According to Geron, in the earlier fight, he had used around 50 percent of his life energy in using the barrier to store all of their attacks inside the barrier.
