Chapter 64 - Good morning, Wife (2/2)

It must be her damn hormones acting again. If it wasn't because she was pregnant, she didn't think she would have this kind of thoughts towards her husband.

'No!' Luna cradled her head and forced the dirty thoughts away from her mind. This couldn't possibly be happening! This wasn't her! Damn, her own body was betraying her.

Hero lay back on the bed and stared at her confusedly. He could sense that she was somewhat trapped in an internal battle, causing her facial expression turned from confusion, to surprise, and to horror.

Ah, compared to sleeping alone on his own bed, he felt much relaxed when he slept on the same bed with his wife although his daughter was between them.

”Look behind you,” he said. Luna did what he'd just said, glad that he was able to change the mood within the room.

Luna didn't think she would be able to answer her husband if he asked her what was wrong with her.

She found Little Amber sitting on the floor surrounded by the toys she brought with her. Noticing her stare, the girl turned around and smiled at her, glad to see that her Mommy was finally awake.

Little Amber stood up and raised her arms up, informing her Mommy she wanted to be picked up by her. Luna did but not without Hero scolding his daughter first.

”When your Mommy's bump starts to show up, you can't do this anymore. You'll hurt her and the baby,” he told Little Amber.

Little Amber stuck her tongue out and avoided her father's glare. He could not stop her from taking her Mommy's attention.

”Did my baby sleep well last night? Because Mommy's hoping you'll accompany her to visit her friend today?”

Since Luna wasn't able to meet Corinne during the banquet, she promised that she'd pay a visit to her and Mia this weekend.

Little Amber nodded her head, excited to go out again like they did yesterday when her Mommy took her for shopping.

Before meeting her new Mommy, Little Amber always wondered what would it feels like if she has a mommy of her own but thinking about her father's attitude, she didn't any woman would agree to become her mommy.

Little Amber certainly didn't want her Aunt Veronica to become her mom. She's violent and loud. She also made her cry through her shouting. As Little Amber wrap her small arms around her mommy, she thanked her bad daddy in her heart.
