36 Ch 36 | Alexander is leaving college (1/2)
David stepped inside the canteen and everyone looked towards him. His arrival created an uproar throughout the canteen.
”Whoa! Isn't he David Taylor from Taylor family?!”
”He's even strongest student in the 2nd Year.”
”But what he's here for?”
”Did he come for dinner? That can't be! Nobles like him usually eat off-campus.”
Under the curious gazes of everyone, David scanned throughout the canteen and found Alexander sitting on the corner most table.
He walked towards him and sat on the chair beside Alexander and this action caused the second round of uproar.
”F**k! He's having dinner with those poor girls and boys?” A girl from combat class, David's classmate shouted.
”This is totally crazy! Is he friends with them?” Another boy asked.
”Don't you see him talking all friendly with them!”
”We must never step on the students sitting at that table.” Everyone nodded in approval.
David sat down beside Alexander and then glanced over Emmy and Lucy who were sitting opposite to him and whispered to Alexander, ”Brother, who's sister-in-law? And where's Brother Elliott?”
Alexander did an introductory gesture towards Emmy and said ”She's our sister-in-law. And the beautiful miss beside her is Lucy, her friend. As for Elliott, he went over to order food.”
David then looked at Emmy and introduced himself, ”Hello sister-in-law, I am David a friend of Elliott. I think you won't mind me joining over for dinner?”
Emmy and Lucy were still not able to believe this but they soon gathered their thoughts together. Emmy laughed a bit and said, ”Of course not, I am glad to have you here for dinner.”
Elliott returned after ordering the food and threw the card over to Alexander and said, ”Geez! You have quite a lot of money! Why didn't you treat us earlier?”
Alexander replied him with a questioning gaze, ”Would you believe I got this money today?”
Elliott rolled his eyes as he sat down ignoring Alexander and greeted David, ”Yo! Brother David arrived!”
David also smiled as he said, ”Yeah! I just arrived. As for the money… hehe.. he really received it today.”
