Chapter 41 - Avengers Initiative (1/2)

I was with Maria in my tesseract powered engine. It took us only 4 min reach there. It was pure havoc on the base. I asked her to show me the way. I am going with her through multiple lifts and stairs to reach a lab. I was quite happy about what I saw there. It would be fun. This year might not be that boring.

I saw Loki there in his costume with a helmet with bull horns. He stood up with a sinister look on his face. I came and stood next to Fury.

Fury: ”Welcome Back, sir”

Kyle: ”Now is not the time Fury”

Loki stood up and looked at everyone with an arrogant look until he looked at me. He might have remembered the hard punch. I had a grim on my face.

Fury: ”Sir, please put down the spear.”

Loki didn't listen to him and shot a beam out of his spear towards them. I picked Fury and dodged the beam. When Fury was stabilizing after the impact, I ran toward him and gave him another har punch. 'This feeling, I'm never bored of this.'

I had my force under control, I don't want him to be too much damage. I want to fight Chitauri but I still did a number on him.

Kyle: ”Remember me, Loki?”

Loki: ”How can I forget you”

He tried to sneak attack me with his spike type knives. I caught them in the air. I gave him another jab. His face was really filled with blood. I was going to play a little with him but then Tesseract did its thing and the whole base started crumbling down.

I left him there and went to help others as he was not the priority right now. I was near Fury and called Barton and asked him to take Fury with him and leave the base as soon as possible.

Barton: ”What about you?”

Kyle: ”Don't worry about me, I will come once I help everyone out.”

He nodded and went with Fury. I started helping others moving out from there. Loki was now stable enough to stand on his feet, taking the advantage of this chaos he minds controlled Selvig and teleported with him using the Tesseract.

The building crumbled up but no one was injured and no death penalties. I teleported back from there and went back to my house. I called Steve as SHIELD do no know where he went after waking up from his sleep, so I have to set him up.

Steve: ”What is it, Kyle?”

Kyle: ”You know it, Steve. SHIELD might start a search for you if they didn't find you in their facility?”

Steve: ”Don't they know I am here?”

Kyle: ”No they don't know, I asked Natasha to set it up like they think you are there getting back on your peak. Getting used to your body.”

Steve: ”So what now?”

Kyle: ”I want you to go back there and act like you never met Elly. I don't want her to be on their radar.”

Steve: ”Okay, but what about those who know about us?”

Kyle: ”Don't worry. Tony would never tell anyone.”

I gave a teleportation disk to Steve. He teleported to a gym where he was supposed to be training. All I have to wait is now to wait for Fury to initiate Avengers.
