Chapter 40 - Marias POV (1/2)

I was inside my home. I was feeling a little uncomfortable today. Eve told me that I am connected with stones so whenever they will be used, I will feel uneasy. I felt a massive spike in my mood and I understood that THE TIME FOR AVENGERS HAS COME.

I found Maria with some bruises in the white room. I have made this room to give treats to those who play tricks on my tower. When I reached there, she introduced me and we took a car and started moving to the base.

{Maria Hill POV}

I was ordered by Director to contact Mr. Silvers aka Silver Wolf. I have read some files about his achievements but it was never mentioned about him being in contact with SHIELD or anything to take note of instead of him being a 94-year-old 5-star General who killed Hitler.

No one seen him for the last 50 years. No one knows how he looks nowadays. Well, what can I expect from a 94-year-old man? I tried to search for more information but there was none other than this.

Right now, I am on my way to his house. I found his tower; it is quite easy. You can literally see it from anywhere in New York. It's really huge. It wasn't that high last year. But he made it really high in just one year. How is it even stable?

I showed my card at its security point and went inside. At the reception of his towers, I asked to meet him.

Hill: ”Excuse me, I am from SHIELD. I want to meet Mr. Silvers”

Rece.: ”Do you have an appointment?”

Hill: ”No I don't have an appointment but it is very important to meet him.”

Rece: ”Sorry Mam, you can meet him without an appointment.”

Hill: ”Please try to understand. There is a world-level threat. We need him.”

Rece.: ”Sorry Mam but I can't help you.”

Hill: ”Sorry to bother you.”

I left the reception and tried to sneak in there. I was pretty confident in my stealth techniques. I was working under the Director. I should be the best. That was a mistake. I tried to sneak in. I found no one guarding the corridors or anything. It was quite easy or I thought so.

Suddenly someone hand-chopped me, I lost my consciousness, next I opened my eyes. I was tied in a chair and a girl was standing in front of me. I wasn't able to see her face for some reason. There was proper lightning but still, her face was blurred. I tried to escape from the ropes but they weren't rope. The more I tried the tighter it got.

???: ”Agent A 946430. Name Maria Hill. Born on April 4, 1982. Level 9. May I know what are you doing here?”

Hill: ”…”

???: ”We don't have all day, girl. Tell me why are you here? You sneaked into private property. I can kill you and no one will ever know”

I was in a panic state. The way she addressed me and the information she had. She will no doubt kill me.

Hill: ”I came to meet Mr. Silvers. Nick Fury, the director of SHIELD wants to meet him.”

???: ”That one-eyed bastard… So why does he want to meet him”
