Chapter 18 - Can I have a Harem? (2/2)

I sat beside her on the couch and started telling her the whole story. Elly also woke up. I place on my ŀȧp and continued my story. Both were happy listening to my story. I got up and went to shower and then to sleep a little. Peggy went to meet with Steve. You ask why I hugged her, because I want her in my harem. I asked Eve if I can take other girls. She had no problem with. This is quite common in upper realm. So, 'I will take every girl. HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!'

{Somewhere in the camp}

Steve: ”What are you doing here, Peggy”

Carter: ”Nothing I found, you came back and came to see you.”

Steve: ”Oh, yeah, right. I was coming to meet you.”

Carter: ”No problem, I just came to you. Isn't it the same?”

Steve: ”Yeah, right. What happened to your head?”

Cater: ”Nothing just a little injury.”

Steve: ”Ok, so do you want to ask anything?”

Carter seeing his expression understood that he isn't interested in talking to her and she just said good bye to Steve and went back.

{Back in my house}

Kyle: ”What happened Peggy? Why this sad face?”

Peggy: ”Nothing happened Kyle. So, what are your plans now?”

I wanted to ask her but Eve refused.

[Don't ask her anymore. Do something to distract her.]

Kyle: ”I was thinking of taking Elly for the fair. You want to join in?”

[Good going Kyle]

Peggy: ”Okay”

Kyle: ”Okay, be ready. We will go around 6 in the evening.”

I went to give instructions to the recruits as per the condition. On my way I met Colonel Phillips.

Col: ”Kyle, where are you going?”

Kyle: ”I am going to teach the recruits.”

Col: ”Ahhhhh! Forget about that. Come with me.”

I followed Phillips and reached a room with several officials there. They gestured me to take a seat. A man passed us some documents. They were continuing the SSR and finding a new director.

Col: ”Gentlemen, I want to ask you if you have anything to say to my decision.”

No one said anything.

Col: ”So, from today I appoint Colonel Kyle Silvers as the new director of SSR. Do you have anything to say Colonel Kyle.”

Kyle: ”Will I have to do field jobs after that.”

Col: ”If you want.”

I accepted another promotion. I knew that SSR will merge with S.H.I.E.D in the future. When I left the meeting, it was evening so I went home to get ready for the fair.
