Chapter 13 - Meeting Captain America (2/2)

Everyone just broke in Excitement. Their blood was boiling listening to the confident words of their idol. The person who alone killed 1000 men and saved everyone. The 'One Man Army'. Then the girls took the stage and started dancing but the hot-blooded men just got their adrenaline shot. Elly was also shouting about sending Hitler to hell. I stopped her. She just got embarrassed, seeing me laughing and pouted.

Kyle: ”What happened, Elly?”

Elly: ”I am not talking to you?”

Kyle: ”Now, Elly is not talking to me. I don't want to live anymore. My princess is angry with me. God, please take me.”

Elly: (with tears) ”Who said I am not talking to you. You are the best brother. How can I be angry with you? Don't go anywhere.”

Kyle: (kissing her on cheeks)” Ok if Elly wants me to stay. I will stay. Now let's go meet Captain America.”

We reached Steve's cabin. I nocked and went inside. He was sitting facing the wall.

Kyle: ”How are you, Steve?”

Seeing me he got excited and jumped from his seat and hugged me.

Steve: ”I am fine. What about you?”

Seeing Elly in my eyes he smiled and asked.

Steve: ”Oh, Elly. How are you? Want to fight again?”

Kyle: ”What are you doing Steve?”

Steve: ”Oh, I work as an artist now. I came here to perform for the recruits.”

Kyle: ”You are not working Steve. You are ruining, what you have. This is not what we agreed to do when I asked you to take the serum. I wanted you on the frontlines with me.”

Steve was just looking down. he was sad but he couldn't do anything. He was never offered to go on war. To change the topic, he asked me about my last mission

Steve: ”How was your last mission? I only knew the highlights but I want to know the whole story from you.”

Kyle:” Elly are you hungry? Want to eat with captain America.”

Elly: ”Yes, I want to eat with captain America?”

I gave Elly to Steve. He put her on his shoulders and we started moving to the canteen. We saw Agent Carter on the way. She smiled watching me and Elly.

Carter: ”Where's the trio going?”

Kyle: ”Oh we are just going to the canteen. Elly wants to have lunch with Captain America”

Elly: ”Aunty Carter, why don't you come with me. Brother Kyle is going to tell us about the mission where he saved me.”

Carter's eyes also sparkled. She also knew the scratch so she joined us. We went to canteen; everyone was shocked watching me.

Kyle: ”Soldiers eat up cause today is going to be long day as I'll take your class today.”

Hearing everyone was pumped up. I took an empty seat with Elly on my ŀȧp. Steve was sitting with Carter on the opposite side. I just smiled at the couple.
