Chapter 13 - Meeting Captain America (1/2)

After checking the status, I just went to sleep. I spent my rest of the week playing with Elly and sleeping.

{After one week}

I was getting ready. Wearing my Major uniform. I asked if Elly want to go with me. She nodded and I washed her up and helped him dressing up and asked her to wear shoes. She just wore them in opposite feet. Sometimes, this girl can be so clumsy.

Kyle: ”What are you doing, Elly. I have told you many times how to wear shoes, haven't I?

She just pouted and said nothing I took off her shoes and helped him wear them right. She was still angry a pouting to me. I just kissed her forehead and asked her to follow me.

She giggled and held my hand and walked with me. After sometime a car came near me.

Col.: ”Oh so Elly is also going with us.”

Elly: ”Yes, grandpa. Brother said Captain America will be there.”

Colonel just laughed. Everyone took a liking to Elly. Colonel asked her to call him grandpa. So, he also has a soft spot. We sat in the car and drove to the training camp. We talked all the way. Colonel was busy with Elly, spoiling her. She loved sweets, and colonel never missed treating her. We reached our destination.

Col. ”I am going to the recruitment base.”

Kyle: ”Aren't you going to meet him.”

Col.: ”I don't like clowns”

He frowned and asked the driver to get him to the base. I just laughed it off. He was really pissed at Steve. I reached the place. There was a stage there. Recruits were sitting on the ground. I reached back stage with Elly in my ŀȧp. When I reached there Steve was already at the stage. People on the back stage were just shocked watching me, their eyes sparkled seeing me.

Steve was giving his lame ȧss speech there, about joining him. Recruits were mocking him and asked to send the girls. I was watching the drama form the back stage.

Elly: ”Brother, why are they shouting at Captain America?”

Kyle: ”They are not shouting, Elly. They are showing their enthusiasm.”

Elly: ”When are we going to meet him?”

Kyle: ”We are going right now, princess?”

I took Elly with me on to the stage. Watching me, all the shouting stopped. Their eyes sparkled watching their idol. Steve was unknown to this fact that I was behind him.

Kyle: ”this is how you respect your higher ups. Is this your discipline?”

Everyone just looked down.

Kyle: ”So, now tell me how many of you are willing to follow me to lead America to victory.”

All shouted in unison. Steve took this chance and escaped back to the back stage.

Kyle: ”Are you willing to sacrifice yourself for the glory of your country.”

Everyone: ”YES!!”

Kyle: ”Are you ready to fight with me and send Hitler to the gates of hell by your hands?”
